The tau Huey was very clean and smooth. Not bad at all
The tau foo far here is smooth and you can mix yours with all sorts. I had it with jelly. Quite good. Silky and not overly sweet.
Just a few doors down from Heng Long is my to go place for desserts. After my teochew porridge, I'll DEFINITELY go for some good old tauhuey with some crispy fragrant you zha kueh.
If you are a Traditional Soya Beancurd junkie like me who can't understand the pudding version but fancy having a cold one for supper; this definitely would be your thing! Had always liked how their syrup is sweet enough to flavour up the Beancurd, and that the texture is akin to the usual warm ones that they serve. Best of both worlds!
And #IAmSingaporean because I tell the auntie I want the Michael Jackson.
Selegie is my go-to for a traditional taste of this flavor duo. The Classic Beancurd is smooth with a modest sweetness, well complemented by the savoury Fried You Tiao. I particularly enjoy their assortment of fried fritters that are light and airy, with a pleasant chew and slight crisp round the edges. Moreover, their wide variety of traditional and modern soybean and pastry products enables all something to taste.
