An unpretentious, old-school tuckshop-style western food that's great if you manage to avoid the peak period queues averaging 1 hour (I waited 70 minutes on a random weekday night).
.
While flat, they've somehow managed to get a medium rare doneness on their beef, with the steak being slightly charred around the edges. Has bold meaty salty savoury flavour from full seasoning.
.
The fresh lettuce with mild vegetal sweet flavour is welcome, as is the crisp chips with punchy salty starchy notes that make you crave more.
.
The star however, as many will attest, is actually the deep-fried bun. Decadently dunked in hot oil, crisp and fluffy with warm bready sweet savoury aroma, shiok.

Way too well done steak, crispy at some of the edges and rly hard to cut esp since they don't give you a steak knife. Sauce had a huatiao wine taste, making the whole dish feel asian. Fries were the last of their batch, so they were short, overly crunchy and rly salty. Bun was rly greasy but it seems like you can opt to change it to sth else. Also ordered a pork chop which was ok, and came with the same stubby salty fries. Like most of the other reviews, I rly don't get the draw of this place.

45 minutes for this undeserving food. Their fame comes from the fact they do old-school hawker Western food. The fish was decent but so little. Only the fried bun was outstanding - it had a unique fragrance.

It took a while for me to get this plate, even located at hidden coffeeshop, but the stall is quite pack and all waiting for this stall only.

Even though they are located in a very quiet neighbourhood at Seletar Hill Estate but it doesn’t stop many people came here for dinner.

Came at 5:30pm and there’s already lots of pending order. Do give the uncles some time to sort out before getting your order. Long waiting time is expected.

Their western food was famous for the portion and I totally agree with that. The mixed grill comes with beef, lamb and chicken patty; together with fries, ham, fried egg and bun. $12
