This venue is closed for upgrading from 15th October to mid-November 2019. Sen of Japan is a casual dining Japanese restaurant and bar. Our dishes are designed by Chef Nakano Hiromi, who used to head the famous NOBU at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. The meaning of ‘Sen’ in Japanese is fresh, we believe that the quality of each dish lies in the source of ingredients – ‘To be fresh’. Our curated menu aims to bring to the table the taste of Modernised Japanese cuisine combined with an intimate setting with spectacular views of the Singapore skyline.

The meat was not as tender as expected but still a good portion of it.

Came with onsen egg and avocado.

Good for sharing

Beef was as expected, fantastic. The onsen egg and ikura goes well together.

Japanese style

The meat was soft and tender throughout like how you would want your Mrs to be.

There’s some soup/sauce on the side enough for a bowl of warm white japanese rice, how cuddles should be like.

Some avocado slices on top for healthy thoughts.

The half onsen egg looking perfect revealing it’s vulnerable soul.

Some mustard for when you need a palate cleansing, giving you flexibility when you are feeling too jaded.

It was so good.

This is yummy. Especially the sauce, not so salty or sweet. Just nice for two to share

Texture of the cheesecake was not as soft but more dense, different from the regular ones that I’m used to. Didn’t enjoy it.

Ending our dinner off with a mille crepe cake as dessert. Crepe layer was a tad too thick and the cream in between the layer was not enough to give a nice flavour to the tastebud. But still, a nice touch to finish off our last course!
