Properly known as JB Fried Bee Hoon on their menu, Seng Kee’s rendition of this pan fried vermicelli, hands down, beats any other Chaota Bee Hoon I’ve ever had BY A MILE.
They give a proper crisp char to the top, and beneath that crown hides a variety of seafood, sprouts and fragrant bits of fried egg. Do it justice and savour it with the sambal chilli & lime served on the side.
Opens all day and till the wee hours (4am), fantastic supper joint without having to queue for such hearty midnight munchies.

I love the herbal soup of this mee sua joint! The mee sua is served al dente and not overly soggy so its pretty much delicious.
It is a zhi char place so you can get your typical zhi char fix as well. Would recommend!

Comfort food on a rainy day. The herbal soup was rich and satisfying. The organs were sweet and fresh but the mee sua was a little too soft for me. 5.5/10

While their herbal mee sua takes the spotlight on your table, don’t forget to try their Fish Head Curry which is super tasty too! Love how the curry has the right amount of spicy kick and isn’t too jelat to have it on its own. 🙌🏻

A few years ago when I was still staying in the West, I would drive all the way down to Changi Road just for this bowl of mee sua.
The soft mee sua came in a bowl of tasty, hot, and comforting broth. The velvety smooth kidneys and fresh sweet pork ingredients just made everything even better.

Having a late night? I’ll always crave for this mee sua in Kembangan (I’ve ordered all-pig’s-kidney version which is more ex than the usual $5 pig’s organ mee sua)! Though today’s pig’s kidneys are slightly overcooked (a little too chewy), I still love the texture of mee sua in this herbal pork soup! I’ve always wanted to try the Black Chicken Herbal Soup but till today, I’ve yet to because this mee sua keeps making me come back for more!
