It was a younger man cooking and it wasn't as good. The soup still possessed Seng Kee's X-factor, but less impressive than usual. Worst was the noodles, which were slightly undercooked.

Their soup is alr v cloudy but I still believe most people add the egg lol.

Mee was a wavy mee Kia that had a slight bite but was mostly soft. The depth of flavour of the soup really does justice to its appearance, and there was a profound smokiness as well. Pretty good

P.S. their queue is usually really long (all the way until 2pm) so if u see it subside do join it asap

This bowl of bcm right here packs a crazy punch! Super flavourful and filled with ingredients! Liver, seaweed, minced meat, pork slices, mushroom, fried fish, pork lard, YOU NAME IT! The soup is so rich and thick, it almost feels like I’m eating a bowl of ramen! The fish maw soup is also Super shiok! Not the cheap kind of fish maw! 10/10!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky that we joined the queue right before the lunch crowd came! Picked mee kia and they were done as q as usual. Just can’t get enough of their umami sole fish based broth - it’s super comforting and the depth of flavour is always so impressive!


Minced pork noodles ($6)

Normal size is $5 and $6 is a bigger bowl (add noodles and ingredients). Ordered $6 but just add ingredients. There was lots of pork slices and minced meat, together with mushroom slices which were well marinated (I asked for no liver). Chilli was not spicy though. Thought could be saltier so added my own soy sauce. The soup is the bomb. So much taste and has the 扁鱼 taste and bite.

Haven’t been back in a while and though prices have increased slightly, it’s still as good! Love how their noodles are always done so springy and q, even if you get it in the soup version. We slurped down every drop of the umami broth that’s distinctly flavoured with dried sole fish. Got to be prepared to wait in line here!
