In celebration of SG's 54th birthday, they also have the new Gochujang Crab available only in Aug'19! Check it out before it's gone!

Thanks @seoulyummy @theprsalon @makanwarrior for having me!

Thin wheat flour noodles in a spicy kimchi broth with fatty pork belly pieces got us slurping up every strand along with the egg. In conjunction with National Day, they also offer crispy soft shell crab in Gochujang sauce, a Korean twist to Singapore’s chilli crab sauce 🥰
~
Thank you Frederic for the invite @theprsalon @seoulyummy!

Pork Belly So-Myon SGD10.90

Your meals will never be boring at @seoulyummy because they offer so many SIDE dishes to choose from! 🤤🤤🤤
.
In celebration of Singapore's National Day, they have introduced Korean Gochujang Crab 🦀🦀🦀 ($15 a la carte, $5.40 with every Double Double ordered). Featuring fried soft-shell crabs doused with in-house Gochuchang sauce, the heat was negligible & boasts of sweet-tangy tomato-ey flavours 🍅, somewhat akin to Singapore chilli crab! Only available from 1-31Aug so you gotta act fast! 👌🏻
.
Meat-lovers can go for their Beef Andong Stir Fry ($11.80), which features beef 🥩🥩🥩 stir-fried with dried chilli, garlic, onion & capsicum (available in chicken/beef/pork). Grab a lettuce 🥬 & some kimchi to make your own wrap like Koreans do! ✔
.
Personally preferred the Jja Jang Steam Pork Dumplings to the Jja Jang Fried Pork Dumplings ($6.80, $3 with So-Myon order) 🥟🥟🥟 as the chewy skin absorbs the sweet jja jang pork stew better. 💕
.
Instead of being coated with spicy gochuchang sauce, chewy Korean rice cakes & fish cakes has undergone a makeover here. ✌🏻 Jja Jang Tteokbokki ($7.80) is now stir-fried with non-spicy jja jang pork stew sauce. Eat this while it's hot 🔥 or it can get a bit tough after turning cold.
.
Resembling fried seaweed chicken, the filling of Fried Mari ($7.80) has been swapped with well-seasoned glass noodles. Fried food is always welcomed! 😋😋😋
.
Definitely spoilt for choice here! Lots to munch on while waiting for your mains! 👍🏻 Thank you @seoulyummy @theprsalon for the awesome feast! 🥰

Do you like your noodles thick or thin? 🤔 If your bias is the latter, it's time to rejoice as you can now lay your hands on a bowl of comforting So-Myon at @seoulyummy from now till 31 Sep! ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
.
Unlike typical ramen, So-myon is a long & thin variation that is reminiscent of that used in longevity noodles. 🍜🍜🍜 While retaining a nice chew, these noodles specially imported from Korea were so smooth & slippery that you can slurp it down easily. 💯
.
Both the spicy & tangy Kimchi soup & the savoury Doenjang soup with a taste of home 🏠 were light & delicious. Choose your ideal topping of Pork Belly ($10.90++) 🐷, Spicy Chicken ($10.90++) 🐓, Beef 🐄 ($12.90++) or clams 🐚 ($11.90++) - there's something for everyone! 💕 For a nourishing treat, opt for their Samgyetang So-Myon ($13.90++), with broth of mild ginseng fragrance & chicken chunks. 👌🏻
.
To complete your meal, simply add on $3++ for a cup of barley tea & a side of Pork Dumplings (U.P. $6.80++)! ✔
.
Thank you @seoulyummy @theprsalon for the yummy Korean feast! 😘😘😘
