Shroom Burger >>> SmokeShack. No green biasses here. Trust me, I was as shook 😯.

I’m more of an in&out gal but given all the buzz I decided to give Shake Shack another shot. Boy was I disappointed. The patty did not manage to hit all the basic notes — it was dry, not that tasty... I’d probably scoot to McDonald’s given its price points too 🍔.

HOWEVER the crisp-fried portobello mushroom... with cheddar cheese... oooooof 🤤. It had the perfect thickness of batter, the juiciest meatiest portobello, with some sauce/seasoning that made it incredibly tasty. 💯% would recommend skipping the overhyped classic burger for what you’d not find at most fast food joints.

Surprisingly nice beef! Served warm, this was tender and well marinated. The vegetable options were sufficient and tasted really good too! ($19.90++)

All the ingredients in this bowl were amazing! Super fresh and tasted really flavourful. The ambience here is also amazing, with homiest decorations in the middle of CBD! This is way better than the usual grain bowl places I’m used to frequenting like Daily Cut, Wheat etc.

Got the smallest bowl, with sweet potato mash, roast chicken, avocado, tzaziki and Goji berries. I’m a big eater and I still couldn’t finish the generous portion of sweet potato mash! Paid around $15 for this (added $1 for avocado).

Just take note that this isn’t a main that qualifies under Burpple Beyond. Didn’t know it till we were at the counter sadly...

Roast Chicken, Homemade Pesto, Cranberries, Tomatoes, Almond flakes, Spinach, Wholemeal Pita

+points to the plating! 'love the generous sprinkle of toast almonds and cranberry in the middle. The wholemeal pita was thin and soft, generously spread with homemade pesto within. The pesto-ed pockets were then filled with roast chicken, spinach and cherry tomatoes! I'm not a fan of cherry tomatoes and hence, my biased taste buds will prefer no cherry tomatoes - or if a must, then sliced versions of whole tomatoes. It's a pretty light meal - friendly to the small stomach. I love the fragrance of the homemade pesto, the crunch of the almond flakes and slightly sourish touch from the cranberries. If you've the patience to nicely fit a bit of everything into the pita pocket with each bite, you'll be amazed at the combi like I was!

Ribeye steak, Cracked broccoli, Asparagus, Capsicum, Nut crumble, Beetroot hummus, Tri colour quinoa, Olive oil.

Let's just say... this is worthy of every cent out of $16.00! The portions of Ribeye steak were substantial - nicely seared with slight char and medium in the centre, neither too tough nor bloodied. As in the pic - the portion of hummus was huge! Larger than a scoop of ice cream. While the taste of beetroot wasnt distinct, it certainly added aesthetic points to the dish. For the greens - there's cracked broccoli, capsicum and plenty of thin asparagus - yes, thin versions of the standard, thick asparagus. For carbs and more fibre, there's tri-colour quinoa that adds crunch to each bite!

First I went to the Robinson road pmoutlet which said 'closed'. Please head to telok ayer as we are understaffed.

Then walked in the afternoon heat all the way to telok ayer . That one was also closed. No reason.

0 stars. Please avoid this place.

There are plenty of other decent and reliable options at raffles.

Hope this helps
