got grandma’s roast and mexicana bowls under burpple 1 for 1. bowls were fresh and delightfully generous with portions. the grandmas roast came recommended and was a good warm meal with a delish sauce; mexicana was citrusy and served with spicy salsa on the side. both were great (grandmas roast was better). waitress was really attentive and warm, and checked on us after we finished our meal.

got a drink too (body blast, i believe it was called) taste was alright but don’t think it would have been worth it at full price. $8 for a pretty small cup

would return for the mains!

Am not a health food freak and I love my greasy burgers and meaty steaks, so I admittedly was a little hesitant to try the food here. Surprisingly, it was way better than I expected. Portion sizes are massive so you don’t have to worry about not being full after eating here and their salad bowls are packed with plenty of fresh, tasty ingredients and it honestly doesn’t feel like you’re just eating salad. Pretty chill place to hang with your friends too. Will come back to try their shakes as well!

This 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 ($𝟏𝟔) bowl 🍃 tastes as vibrant as it looks! Sitting on neutral base of spinach and tri-coloured quinoa, the flavour of the individual ingredients really shone through!

I LOVED their beetroot hummus, a perfect amount of garlicky notes encompassed in a smooth creamy paste. An interesting ingredient was the vegan cashew cheese??? This was my first time trying it and it SO GOOD! The super strong and earthy notes of the ‘cheese’ lent a strong but good pop of flavour to the dish. The raw onions helped to cut through the strong flavours of the hummus and the cheese, with a hint of sweetness coming through in the form of dried cranberries and roasted carrots . The carrots were cooked sooo perfectly 🤤 lending a pleasant mellow sweetness.

For $16, it’s in the rather pricier range of salad bowls, but it’s a really filling portion! I think that their merit lies in the freshness of the ingredients, and the way they’ve managed to piece together flavours that complement each other so well!!

Smoothies are nice, though the servings were kind of small. 1 for 1 deal makes the drinks more affordable - do note the smoothies has to be of the same flavour.

The mint taste in the juice is a bit too strong.

1) Steak & Mash
2) Egg & Avocado

The serving for the Steak & Mash is huge - a struggle for 1 person to finish, although for the price point I would expect more steak slices.

Likewise for the egg & avocado, would not pay so much for it.

Food is good but pricey; expensive healthy food 😩
