Attracted by the concept of shaking mee, I opt for the Kolo Mee with Black Sauce (Dark Soy Sauce).

There are 4 different sauces available:-
☑️ White (Traditional)
☑️ Black (Dark Soya Sauce)
☑️ Mix (Dark Soy Sauce w Chilli Sauce)
☑️ Red (Chilli Sauce)

The dish comes with fried wanton, Kai lan, Char Siew and Marinated Minced Meat. Coupled with flavorful cabbage soup, the handmade noodle was springy and goes well with the sauces.

The char Siew was perfect and the portion was reasonable for a normal size at $6.

Bought the best sellers of Kolo Mee (fried wanton, kai lan, minced meat, and char siew in choice of dark soy sauce + chilli!) and House Specialty Pan Mee (anchovies, kai lan, minced meat and onsen egg)! Just need to shake the noodles up in the container then jiak!!! 🍜
On the pricey side cos the mee comes in a small rice bowl sized portion... but worth it cos tastes super nice!! Thought the pan mee by Shake Mee is tastier and way more flavourful than the "famous" Kin Kin Chilli Ban Mian. 😋
$3.90 per bowl // $3.50 if you buy 2 to 4 bowls // $3 for 5 or more. $15 for 5 bowls of these tasty noodles is quite reasonable! 🤑
A bit like eating Thai boat noodles but Chinese haha. Sea-Yo-Later Chicky Pops (fried chicken with mayo seaweed and sesame) also from Shake Mee for $2.90! #burpple #shakemeesg

This is my new favorite food stall in JEM. For $3.90, you get a "diet size" Serawak Kolo Mee that is tasty and full of pork meat. I find the size is a bit small though, so I will buy two portion of it for $6 (promotion price).

The kolo mee have 4 taste: white, black, spicy, or black and spicy. My wife tried the black and spicy kolo mee but she found it more like ordinary wanton noodle. So I would recommend white (traditional) kolo mee if you have the chance to visit this stall.

They also have various pan mee menu but I haven't tried it.

This is actually a branch out our franchise from face to face origin from Malaysia. Initially open can see quite a long queue but nowadays don't really see the queue there anymore. Maybe the standard of ban mian is not really fantastic. If to give score of 5 stars ~ 3 ⭐⭐⭐! So worth to try but I had tasted the better one.

The kolo mee comes with 4 choices of sauce. You can have the white (traditional), black (dark soy sauce), mix (dark soy sauce + chilli sauce) or red (chilli sauce). We tried the one with the dark soy sauce which comes with fried wanton, kai lan, minced meat and char siew. While the char siew was on the dry side, the dark sauce married with the springy noodle excellently. If it can improve on the char siew, this would be perfect.
