Shake Shack is one of the most popular burger chains in the USA. And it is not difficult to see why. Being my gluttonous self, I wanted to try everything on the menu. But both my tummy and wallet would probably end up complaining. I decided to get The Shake Stack: A combination of the cheeseburger and the 'shroom burger with lettuce, tomato and ShakeSauce. The patties are made of freshly ground, 100% all-natural Angus Beef . The patty was nothing like what I expected from a fast food chain, it was tender, soft and bursting with flavour. The patty from the 'Shroom burger was actually a crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses. In other words, bite through the crisp and your teeth sinks into a thick portobello before your mouth is filled with gooey hot cheese. The fries were amazing as well! Crinkle cut Yukon Potatoes ensured that each bite had the right amount of crisp and crunch. It was an easy task finishing the delicious packet of fries. I also got the cheese sauce to go with the fries and this made it even more difficult for me to stop my consumption of fries. Given that I was at Shake Shack, I couldn't forgo the Shake could I? Got myself a Hand-spun vanilla shake which I thought was pretty average. In total, my meal at Shake Shack cost me around $20 in Singapore currency. It sure is pricey for fast food, but quality is what you get in return. Dear Shake Shack, please come to Singapore soon?
