This new menu item, the Dark Meat Hot Chicken Burger ($10.80), is the first Asia-specific menu item and the only dark meat item in the entire Shake Shack chain of outlets.

To make this burger, the chicken thigh is first slow cooked in a creamy buttermilk marinate, hand-dipped into the Shack-made batter, coated with the seasoned flour before being crisp-fried. The chicken is then dusted with a hot pepper blend before it is sandwiched between the potato bun with Louisiana hot sauce slaw and kosher dill pickles. The addition of the slaw helps to cushion the spicy kick slightly while the pickles cut through the richness so that you can experience different layers of flavour.

December is just tomorrow! In celebration of the festive season, @shakeshacksg is offering a @moetchandon champagne ($28 per 200ml bottle) pairing with their Truffle menu.

The Black Truffle ShackBurger (single - $14, double - $17.50), Chick’n Shack ($14) and loaded Crinkle Cut Fries ($8.90) and these are available until the end of this year.

Personally I prefer the Chicken Burger over the Beef one. Even though it’s Chicken Breast, it’s pretty tender even for Ah Ma Liu 👵🏼. I just wish the truffle taste was much stronger.

The champagne has a bright fruitiness and elegant maturity which complements the intense flavour from the Black Truffle Shackburger, Chick’nShack and loaded Crinkle Cut Fries.

In addition to the above festive pairing, Shake Shack Singapore will also be offering two seasonal holiday shakes with the returning Christmas Cookie Shake ($8.80) and the all-new Chocolate Milk & Cookies Shake ($8.80) during this period of time. The fan favourite, Christmas Cookie Shake is made with a sugar cookie frozen custard that will be topped with whipped cream, crumbled shortbread and dusted with holiday sprinkles while the Chocolate Milk & Cookies Shake is a blend of chocolate chips and Oreo cookies hand-spun with malted chocolate frozen custard and, topped with whipped cream and chocolate cookie crumble.

Decided to try out the pandan shake as it was a Singapore-exclusive item. For $6.90, you get a pandan-flavoured milkshake with bits of gula melaka (palm sugar) on top! My first thought was that the milkshake tasted like the chiffon cake that you could get from a neighbourhood bakery and the pandan taste was really strong! However, despite being impressive at the start, the drink got a little too sweet towards the end and it became a little too cloying to drink. :( Shake Shack could try to reduce the sweetness of the drink a little, or you could share the drink amongst two to make it more bearable!

Overall, I think it's nice to try the pandan shake as it is eye-opening, but their conventional milkshakes taste better 😁

got this because it’s the cheapest main but it’s SO SIMPLE YET GOOD. if i’m craving their sweet potato buns but not feeling the Shroom burger, i’m definitely getting this again👌🏼🌭
