How could any holiday go without cookies? ๐๐ช๐ช๐ช I had mine this year in the form of a @shakeshack ๐พ๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ข๐๐จ ๐พ๐ค๐ค๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ก๐๐๐๐ฎ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ ($7.80), essentially an elevated Vanilla Shake loaded with sugar cookies and Peppermint flakes. โฅ๏ธ๐โฅ๏ธ๐ This was a huge sugar bomb, and would have been extremely satisfying even when shared among 2 pax. I had it all to myself though! ๐คฃ (Cos'... Holidays. ๐๐๐)
We also tried the ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ฅ๐ค๐ง๐-๐๐ญ๐๐ก๐ช๐จ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ธ๐ฌ๐ ($7.80), which was extremely flavourful with generous coconut shavings and fragrant ๐ฎ๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐๐. As delicious as it was, I'd still go for the ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ก๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ or ๐๐๐ก๐ฉ๐๐ ๐พ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ ๐ next time around, cos' I'm basic like that. ๐โฅ๏ธ
Opt for the SmokeShack for something different from the regular burger. Portobello Mushroom burger is also good!
Finally I have understood why people queue for Shake Shack burgers.
Even though pricier than McDonalds and Burger King burgers, SS burgers are in a class of their own.
I would say their closest fastfood competitor would be Carl's Jr. But Carl is hard to find these days.
SS, on the other hand, are now at several branches.
But still, my fav pricey burger is still to be found at Five Guys (Plaza Singapura).
The shakes here fared much better than the chicken burger. The shake was thicc and creamy, but not super sweet. I also liked the coffee flavour, it was pretty strong and aromatic.
Even though the bun and pickles were nice, and batter was crunchy, the chicken was very meh. Found this very average, and the price tag felt unjustified. Would not go for this again!

Crispy chicken breast accompanied with lettuce & pickles. The meat patty was flavourful and not too dry, esp when thereโs buttermilk herb mayo that help moist the fried patty as well. Itโs such a delight
