Shake Shake In A Tub (IMM)

this is the huge popcorn combo, $9.80 in total! the menu link on burpple is not updated with the pricing, it says $8.70 so we didn’t expect it to cost $1.10 more so boooo but overall a snack worth the money~ we both got truffle and the guy said we can’t mix the flavours for fries and the chicken if using burrple so yep all truffle it is! fries is just as expected but the chicken didn’t really taste like chicken lol but the texture is crispy and nice

1-for-1 with #burpplebeyond!

I have always had good impression with Shake Shake in a tub’s Korean fried chicken because they are really generous in the sauce coating on the chicken batter. With this deal on Burpple Beyond, I can’t help exclaiming how value for money this is because the deal includes many of the items on the menu, even bento sets and Shake Shake fried chicken!

This was the first time I tried the popcorn combo which consists of popcorn chicken and 1 flavored fries for the huge. I had difficult choosing my flavors because the flavors all sounded tasty, and the best part is there’s no limitation to which flavor can be paired with the popcorn chicken or fries. Eventually we decided on cheese and mala flavors for the fries while truffle and bbq for the popcorn chicken because the laksa and seaweed flavors that I initially wanted were out of stock. I was horrified at how spicy the mala flavor was, without any hint of the numb. In fact, just imagine eating ghost pepper flavor and I am not joking. For someone who already has a low threshold for spiciness, it almost killed me but thankful that the cheese was my saviour. Nothing too extraordinary but the nacho cheese flavor felt so comforting. The truffle flavor was alright but could have been even more earthy. Can’t really go wrong with the savory bbq seasoning.

Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we enjoyed 2 huge snack combos at the price of 1! We agreed this would definitely make a delightful movie snack and even more so with Burpple Beyond!
