We had an extravagant dinner sampling signature dishes earlier this week at Shang Social, the first food & beverage brand by the Shangri-La Group:

~Shang Social Half Peking Duck (served with pancakes, house-blended hoisin sauce, and cucumber and leek strips.) Loved the duck - well marinated and skin is super crispy! Hoisin brought out the juiciness of the duck well!)

~8 Treasures Beancurd Pudding (Our favourite of the night! The smooth and silky beancurd is made in-house and served in a wooden tub. Scoop and mix with a unique soy sauce blend and 8 savoury condiments! We liked that we got to choose our own toppings, although all of them together made it really appetising!)

~Kurobuta & Truffle Xiao Long Bao (An elevated take on the Shanghai classic, truffle taste was decently strong!)

~Signature Pan-Fried Pork Bun (Crispy on the outside, but so fluffy and juicy inside. Tear open the pan-fried bun to reveal a slightly soupy pork stuffing! Really yummy!)

~Pork-Prawn Broth Rolled Pork Chashu & Lava Egg Bamboo Noodle (The noodles were very springy, broth was robust & flavourful, and the Rolled Pork Chashu had a melt-in-the-mouth texture!)

~Chinois Sparkling Tea (Super refreshing, with sweet fruity notes from the lychee!)

Overall, the food is very well-executed and we enjoyed every bite! We highly recommend adding this restaurant to your makan list! They have ongoing promos, so you can check out their website (http://shangsocial.com) to find out more.

In addition to the Prosperity Yu Sheng and Bird’s Nest Egg Tart that are available in both ala carte or as part of the first ever Chinese New Year high tea set that comes with a tiered stand of sweets or savouries. Do check out their dining and takeaway menus for more Chinese New Year delectable.

Burp! This gives me a Wow taste all the while when I am having them. The price is definitely ok for a high tea set for two.
Except the chocolate tart too sweet for my taste, and tomato 🍅 on top which I personally not so prefer, (the tomato is very special for me though, just that I personally not so like tomato), all the others are just very delicious for my taste.
This hi tea set is definitely a Must Order if you are happened to be here about teatime timing (3-5pm).
This one is special promotion ($45++ for two if not wrong) from Christmas 2020 by the way. This one abit different from earlier promotion (different dish of duck only i guess, the staff mentioned but I forgotten) which slightly cheaper, but this is very good though.

I rate for 8/10 for this hi tea set.

And will definitely come back to try their other meals or dishes.
