Value for money and it has a combination of my favourites in a set that included the grilled unagi, chawamushi and salmon sashimi. The unagi skewers were charcoal-grilled for the added smoky taste and fragrance. Few bite-sized items that added up to a filling meal.

Being a mentaiko lover, this dish was a huge let down and disappointment.

Was being slightly adventurous when I saw mentaiko pasta but it really sucks. Quite tasteless and just no no. Or maybe this is how the pasta should taste like?? But it’s just super unpalatable to me.

Their sushi was ok

Grilling on charcoal is always the way to retain the juiciness and natural taste of the food while giving it a crisp smokiness taste. Price is really dependant on what you order and it ranges from $1.20 per stick to $2.50 per stick.

Ordered a $30+ platter for 2-3 pax. It was studded with luscious sticks of charred chicken wings, stuffed mushrooms, tomatoes wrapped in bacon, prawns meshed with shiso leaves as well as cheesy pork skewers. My only grouse is the over zealous use of teriyaki sauce in some skewers, which can get cloying after awhile. If u are looking for a yakitori meal that offers excellent value, this is it. However, if u seek an authentic experience, go for the real Mc coy at one of those smoky Japanese run joints in Cuppage plaza or Robertson Quay (Shunjuu being my favorite).

The chicken used is chicken leg meat. Their salad was surprisingly good! Tasted about the same as #ensakabasg Watermelon was thick and juicy. Slight down point was that the side dish of carrot, raddish and meat stew was cold.

Caught the fish at #EarleSwensens. They are serving 2 new 🐟 🐠 in their menu. Seabass or Cod for you?
