i’ve been here q a few times before and the price had increased since the last time but i think the service and food quality also improved so ok la. salmon sashimi was great, v thick and juicy. i would say the most worth items on their menu is their makis — the hanabi maki and dragonfly maki were my favourite. their beef in yakiniku sauce was also one of my fav dishes. i like that their menu is quite extensive and you can order a small portion each time which lets you try a lot of different things. as for their desserts, i rly liked their mochi! the mochi skin was vv soft. my favourite was the coconut mochi, and their coconut ice cream was also good. their buffet also includes free flow hot and cold green tea

overall i had a p good time! my experience this time was more enjoyable than previous times so i’m glad they’ve improved, although it has become quite a lot pricier

It's surprising to find ourselves back at Shin Minori to explore more options from their extensive menu that we missed during our previous visit.

While the sashimi still didn't quite impress, it's great to hear that the sushi was better this time. The improvement in rice texture and bolder flavours adds to the overall dining experience especially those purple rice sushi. Trying their nabe must have been a delightful choice, especially for a cold day. The fatty meat in a savoury, milky chicken and fish bone soup stock sound comforting and hearty.

It's a nice touch that they offer free-flow ice cream, adding a sweet ending to the meal.

Age seems to be catching up, making it necessary to skip meals in anticipation of conquering the Japanese High Tea Buffet at Shin Minori. The price seemed more justified compared to their standard lunch and dinner buffets, which made it all the more appealing.

We feasts heavily, and their buffet menu was impressively extensive. The food was decent, tasting as expected, but some lacked that desired freshness. Surprisingly, their fusion items like nori taco and various purple sushi rice outshined the standard Japanese fare.

While the sashimi had thick cuts, it lacked that expected freshness. Aburi sushi was decent but the rice tended to crumble easily. The chilled tamago tasted akin to castella cake. Noteworthy was their snowy cherry blossom chawanmushi—steamed egg custard with sweet egg white foam and roe. I can't go without mentioning the umami teapot soup. Both prawn tempura and miso-glazed grilled prawn were delightful. Desserts like mochi and watermelon were satisfying.

I forgot to try their nabe, engrossed in devouring other dishes. The buffet's inclusion of fountain drinks and green tea was appreciated. Overall, aimed for their fusion items more than normal Japanese items.

Reservation is recommended, though we were the only customers that day—better safe than sorry, right?

The cost per pax of the buffet isn’t really that cheap. More worth it to use the Burpple Beyond vouchers. However, the sashimi is very thick cut and tasty, one of the only places that does it like this
