Right upon touching down in Narita and checking into hotel, we headed out straight to Udon Shin for lunch! The queue was almost 50mins even though it was late lunch timing on a weekday. We had the udon with bamboo shoot and pork (1280yen++) and tempura set (1380 yen++). the udon was super soft and chewy! Soo good you can eat it on its own! the tempura was a fixed set though and comes with 2 prawns and a mixed of vegetables. Even though the ingredients that I eat are really limited (I don't eat veg + bamboo shoot), I did enjoy the meal here! There is less than 10 seats in here (hence the long queue). Only 2 tables of 2 diners and a row of bar counter seats! Also, they don't provide spoons here! (Haha but the savvy traveller here brings her spoon around, albeit a little spoon, so it wasn't a problem)!
