Bad customer service but food is decent. Tried their oysters egg, clams with chicken soup, tofu with veg, minced pork rice and fried rice.

The clams with chicken soup taste great.
The oysters egg is fresh.
Don’t bother trying the tofu with veg and minced pork with rice.

Nice place for a chinese-style family dinner, with spacious private rooms for large families and good service, definitely a place to go for special occasions! Food was good too, especially the steamed fish and wasabi prawns 😋😋 They even allowed us to bring in our own durian cake, and accompanied with a huge display and longevity buns. Amazing view of the river from the private room, amazing food and amazing service 👍🏻👍🏻

$16 oh-jian! Expensive but delicious. Not much kueh (sticky starch), not really like those that are found along Taiwan night market food streets (which are usually doused with lots of sauce). Oysters are well cooked and at the right level.

$8. The garlic sauce is used in many of Shin Teh’s dishes - it’s caramelised with garlic and sugar/ starch, very Taiwanese. Cucumber makes the pork roll much refreshing as an appetiser.

Under Tung Lok Group is Taiwanese cuisine centred restaurant, Shin Yeh. Here for a reunion lunch and this Shark’s Fin broth caught my attention as it came with much crab meat and roe!

With abalone, pork ribs and red dates, this was light and a great start to the meal. Also pretty sure my mum is getting better at taking food pics than me 😂
