Other than their fantastic tonkatsu which I love so much, they have pretty decent salmon katsu too! It taste better than I’ve imagined it would be.

Disappointed as there is not even a hint of wasabi but taste is ok for ginger ale

Not a fan of pork tonkatsu so can't comment but hub prefer the normal pork tonkatsu as portion is bigger and slightly cheaper.

Goes well with both tomato sauce and curry sauce

2nd visit and it's one of my fav dining spot recently!

Set comes with free flow salad bar, miso soup and rice (you can choose grain rice or white rice).

Yummy, fuss free and value for money!

Will definitely be back again!

We ordered 2 sets of tenderloin and 2 sets of loin. Both had a wonderful crispy layer of batter coating the tender and flavourful meat. I preferred the tenderloin because well, its more tender, although the loin did not pale much in comparison! The half boiled fried egg that I got was soft and runny on the inside, held up with a good crust. But my friend got a hard boiled egg, so I guess it's not very consistent.

The free flow salad bar added some novelty to this restaurant and the variety of sauces to choose from made the dining experience even better.

Prices were reasonable. I would definitely come back when I crave for some good quality tonkatsu.

Recently checked out one of Keisuke Ramen’s latest concept which focuses on the well loved Japanese Tonkatsu located at Paya Lebar Square.

At Shiokoji Tonkatsu Keisuke, the pork is marinated with shiokoji (a type of hundred year old fermented rice seasoning) before being fried, and the frying technique used here apparently reduces oil retention on the tonkatsu by 50%! Taste wise, it was indeed lighter and less oily than the usual tonkatsu with the crispy batter and tender meat standing out! Special mention to the egg too, it was done so well!

Each set comes with free flow cabbage salad and sauce bar, there’s free refill for rice and miso soup too! Super value for money, i’ll definitely be coming back for more!
