Make sure to order the Chicken Thigh, which was remarkably tender and juicy, with every bite umami filled.

If this isn’t the definition of guilty pleasure, I don’t know what is. Perfectly grilled chicken skin with the oil glistening away under the light. Every bite was heart cloggingly good ☺️ Give me more please!

Im so used to having chicken wings at fast food joints I had no clue they could also look like this. The chicken wings you see in the picture were quite a treat but not meaty enough, unfortunately. The chicken was cooked really well and had an amazing smoky flavour.

Chicken thigh skewer from this yakitori joint. Huge smoke flying out from this stall yesterday when we are there and attracted me to join in the q! Had a bite and it give me a surprising WOAH! Super duper tender chicken thigh meat that literally “melts off your mouth”! Not much chewing is required and you can just swallow it without much hassle. One of the best surprise i had yesterday night!

What I came for. Absolutely delicious! That and the little cup of chicken soup the rice bowl came with.

Speaking from experience, this is pure comfort food that the alcohol-saturated would greatly appreciate.
The large bowl is filled to the brim with a chazuke of rice and the most concentrated of chicken soups. It is crowned with a few pieces of grilled chicken, toasted sesame seeds, seaweed and spring onions. On a small saucer is a mini squiggle of yuzu kosho to be stirred in as desired. I love the chazuke both with and without the citrusy, spicy paste as it is sublime on its own.
