These donuts from Shortstop Coffee & Donuts are seriously good! Here are the flavours we got:

~Rhubarb Brûlée
~Maple Walnut & Brown Butter
~Mexican Hot Chocolate
~Cinnamon, Cardamom & Sugar

Each flavour was yummy in their own way! The donuts were all light and fluffy, and the unanimous favourite among us is the Maple Walnut & Brown Butter Donut. It’s a definite must-try for me here! Even their basic Cinnamon, Cardamom & Sugar Donut is excellent! But don’t just take it from me; even my dad who doesn’t really like donuts enjoyed it so much!

If you’re a donut lover, don’t leave Melbourne without visiting this spot!

The one that we keep going back for! After all who doesn't like donuts 🍩🍩🍩 From Earl Grey & Rose Cake to Maple Walnut & Brown Butter, we were tempted to try all these delightful creations freshly made on site daily.

On my last visit, we had New Orleans Iced Coffee Cruller (AUD4.50) which is crisp on the outside, light and airy inside. Adding cocoa to the classic French Cruller, before dipping it in a cold brew coffee (from @MarketLane woah) and vanilla bean glaze made from Heilala Vanilla. Luscious yet delicate, it's a perfect addition to your morning coffee

Having remnants of my sweets craving unsatisfied after brunch, I was excited to find that they still had this flavour in-store (which according to my brother, is their most popular one and usually sells out fast).
The doughnut itself had a lovely subtle earl grey flavour, but the rose frosting was wayyy too sweet for me. I did enjoy the raspberry bits embedded , it gave the whole doughnut a nice fruity taste that complemented the floral flavour. While it was a cake doughnut, it was much greasier than expected. An interesting experience, but give me a regular fried doughnut anytime!
P.s. their brown butter walnut one looked really good, and was recommended by my brother, but I had stomach space only left for one :(

Quite different from your neighborhood bakery donuts or your regular Krispy Kreme. You would be quite happy with the subtle sweetness from the honey and the salty crunch from the sea salt flakes. Perfect for tea time... Or any other time.

I have a headache. Someone please send recovery donuts. Love you long time! #applecidercruller #whiskymaplebacon

It’s shaped like a doughnut. It looks like a doughnut. But it’s not just any doughnut.

IMO, this one is a superior species of doughnut with a moist, cake-like crumb and curd injected into its earl grey-flavoured depths. In fact, it’s basically a cake with a hole in the middle 🤔. But hey, who cares what it really is when it tastes as good as it does.
