Pretty standard dish, waffles were crispy and the batter was nice, ice cream was pretty good. Cozy atmosphere, would definitely visit often if I lived in that area. Tried their hot chocolate which wasnt that great though, it came in warm with a slightly weird herbal taste.

Lord Jesus, now this is what you call a dessert. A delectable chendol waffle topped with not one but three amazing scoops of ice-cream - vanilla, coconut & gula melaka! I'm a huge fan of all things pandan and gula melaka, hence I'm down for any chendol-esque desserts! The waffle was nicely crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. You also get a dollop of red bean and chendol jelly, perfectly encapsulating the chendol dessert.
Though a little bit more pricey then your usual waffle and ice-cream combo, this Nyonya Chendol Waffle from Shrove Tuesday is worth it - and worth the calories!
Really great idea to have this for any type of weather.
Just two scoop in a cup : bottom gula melaka & top avocado.

Oh this cafe is a hidden gem! It's located in an old estate of toa payoh surrounded by a lot of 80s shops. You can't find a flatwhite for $4.50 anywhere else and the nonya waffle ice cream is to die for!
Shrove Tuesday (Original meaning known as Pancake day) would have implied that signature of this cute ice cream shop in Toa Payoh (our neighborhood) must be waffle or pancake. In any cases, we found ourselves tucking into the ice cream. We ordered 2 cups single scoop (Yuzu & Salted caramel almond) $3.50 each scoop.

Cafe pretty hidden near the bradell mrt. A typicai ice cream shop and of course they serve waffles accomoanying them. Ordered the nyonya chendol waffle ($13.9). Crispy all the way through. Usually like some fluffiness to it, but batter was nice. the chendol ice cream was what truly lifts the whole dish. Taste exactly like the actual thing 4.5/5
