The black sesame flavour is my fav! Followed by Hojicha, Matcha and earl grey tea. Their puff has so much flowy filling. So creamy. Worth my calories!

one of my go-to cream puffs!! ($4.30) love how the pastry is crispy on the exterior yet fluffy in the middle; itโ€™s also super thin and the top part is crunchy to give a contrasting texture!! &&& omg the filling....... itโ€™s literally generously filled to the brim with the amazingly luscious cream!!

got this tdy to try out smt new; for this there was a slight nutty and smoky taste (but itโ€™s v subtle if u r gg for the sesame paste kinda vibe)

i had the raspberry & rose, earl grey and hazelnut before!! i think my fav would still be the earl grey for now ๐Ÿ‘… 9/10 for the puffs, 8/10 for this flavour!! canโ€™t wait to try out more flavours in the near future

This is my 2nd most favourite flavour! I like how all their Shuu are packed with cream. ๐Ÿ˜‹

This is their limited edition special. I still prefer other flavours such as coffee and black sesame. ๐Ÿ˜

I wish Iโ€™d taken the inside because this choux puff was bursting with thick matcha cream! It was also pretty sizeable, although I wished that the puff had been a bit more crisp. Worth a try, although I personally wouldnโ€™t get it again. A bit too jelat unless youโ€™re sharing with someone.

Pricey cream puff, but this has to be the most perfect one Iโ€™ve tried. The size (and amount of cream!) fully justifies the $4. The crust is more of the crispy type, which I actually prefer because those traditional tiny choux puffs turn soggy easily.

Available as the limited edition flavour for February, the Mango Shuu looks like itโ€™s totally ready for Chinese New Year with the yellow powder and glitter dusted atop the pastry for a shimmery look. Going past that crisp choux pastry, the cream puff comes packed with loads of Mango cream. Unlike the flavours that we have previously tried, the Mango is distinctively less creamier than the other offerings that they have; more custard-like in texture whilst carrying a brightly sweet yet lightly tart hint of mango โ€” a rather refreshing take that is seemingly fruity that gives off that tropical dessert vibe.

There is no debate: Shuu undoubtedly makes the best choux in Singapore! The puff was light, porous and just thick enough to contain the refreshing cream within...and the cream. Oh heavens, THE CREAMY CUSTARD! How can something be simultaneously heavy yet light, rich yet mild, and so deeply satisfying?!? On a physical level, it was like tasting fluffy ice cream, and on a spiritual one, it was basically free falling through an endless loop of absolute zen. If you have a sweet tooth, PLEASE put eating this choux on your bucket list because only then can you die happy!!!

Shuu Choux has been gaining much popularity, being hailed as one of the best cream puffs in Singapore. Itโ€™s also one of #burpplesghot100 โ€œSweet Toothโ€ stores! ๐Ÿญ
I decided to try the earl grey cream puff and I have to admit, itโ€™s really one of the best cream puffs in Singapore! The puff itself was of the right thickness and the puff was soft on the inside. The cream was definitely the highlight of this whole cream puff. The cream had a nice balanced earl grey flavor and wasnโ€™t overly sweet, which I enjoyed thoroughly. The puff was also PACKED with cream!! The cream flows out so smoothly from the puff so do bring some tissues with you if youโ€™re planning to eat it ๐Ÿคค

This is one puff you would never have to worry about having not enough filling to get you through the choux pastry. The matcha filling is generous, creamy and not overly sweet. The matcha powder dusted on top of the puff adds a slight bitterness which balances out the cream and pastry. It may seem a little pricey, but it is definitely substantial enough to satisfy your sweet tooth!

It's been a while since Shuu released an entirely new flavour on the shelves โ€” that also means I need to get my hands on one of their new Houjicha Shuu puffs that is a special for the month of December. The choux pastry still remains to be what I always look forward to; the crisp crust on the exterior that is sufficiently dense and moist encasing all that almost endless amount of cream that keeps flowing โ€” the Houjicha cream being pretty smooth and roasty with a tea aroma lingering; not overly bitter nor sweet. Still my favourite place for Choux puffs around!

As usual, the satisfaction of the abundance of cream in this huge crisp ball. No matter how difficult to eat this, I finished the whole puff while walking around Chijmes! HAHA. How unladylike I was! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿค”

Went past the stall trying to resist myself from getting another Shuu puff but ended up again with yet another one of their new creations โ€” the Hazelnut Shuu. As usual, the crust never fails to impress being all crisp without being dry while the insides is filled with copious amounts of Hazelnut cream that is almost never-ending โ€” absolutely love how the cream is so flowy and creamy with that adequately rich, nutty flavour. It's been a while since my last Shuu, but it's almost like seeing your crush in a long while realizing he/she hadn't changed โ€” not even one bit, and that's a good thing for this scenario.

Matcha flavor

3.20 each

Bitter taste is strong, sweet at the same time. Crispy at the outer layer. Generous filling. Full of Matcha custard. Matcha powder on top of the puff.
