A unique and refreshing mix of homemade pineapple jam, tonic water, and a shot of espresso. It's chilled, slightly fizzy, and pleasantly fruity sweet. You won't find much bitterness or acidity from the espresso, making it a delightful sip.

This one's a bit of a letdown. A crumbly sable tart filled with frangipane and poached pear, topped with nutty pistachio. Unfortunately, it seems to have a stale fridge taste, and the texture falls flat, lacking that epic moment you're hoping for. The taste is moderately fruity sweet, but that's about it.

A fruity genoise cake layered with strawberries, fresh cream, and creme patisserie. It's light, airy, and satisfying, but nothing to write home about. Just your standard strawberry shortcake.

You've gotta try this one! It's a super burnt caramelised pastry with a tad hard crispy exterior and a soft, melt-in-your-mouth interior. Made with Isigny croissant butter and brown sugar, it achieves the perfect balance of delicateness.

It's always about keeping things simple, never about whether things are actually simple. ๐Ÿ˜’

Housed in a quieter part of Jalan Besar just a stone's throw away from one of our fave cafรฉs @tolidosnook , the clean minimalist decor is a refreshing touch to the nostalgic charm of an old neighbourhood. ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

Although it's missing the cosy Taiwanese charm of its old location IMHO, the food here definitely goes straight to the heart!

๐Ÿซ๐Ÿฎ๐—›๐—”๐—ญ๐—˜๐—Ÿ ๅทงๅ…‹ๅŠ›ๆฆ›ๆžœ ($10.00) - Beautifully layered with Feuilletine, Chocolate sponge and 70% Dark Chocolate Mousse, my fave part of this cake was definitely the Caramel Praline core, which stole the show with its fragrant nutty flavour but yet complemented the whole cake wonderfully. Definitely returning for this one. ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿ ๐—ฆ๐—”๐—ง๐—ฆ๐—จ๐— ๐—” ๅœฐ็“œๅท ($7.00) - Was pretty excited to try this cake made with Japanese sweet potato ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต and French @Isigny Cream ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท since I'm still revelling in my new obsession of Taiwanese Sweet Potato Balls, but unfortunately the flavours were pretty muted and wasn't particularly mind-blowing. Would pick HAZEL over this for sure.

None of that fake syrupy saccharine sweetness, but a satisfying nutty flavour enhanced by the creamy milk. Absolutely delightful, and I can safely say, we've found our favourite Hazelnut Coffee in Singapore!!! ๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒˆโค๏ธโค๏ธ
