At a first look, it is your classic nasi lemak with egg, sambal and ikan bilis with one difference, the coconut rice. The rice was a brilliant blue hue from the butterfly pea and each scoop was a fragrant mouthful. For the base, I had the rendang chicken that was slathered with a mildly spicy rendang gravy, which was welcoming on a rainy weather. Note: Do try the har cheong chicken which I left was more scrumptious.

It took me a few years but here I am on this highly rated nasi lemak. They're among the pioneers to popularise butterfly pea. Quite an enjoyable nasi lemak. Apart from the delicious chilli, their stars are those two proteins. I found the fried chicken okay only, but the rendang was great, featuring tender meat and rich spices. Although I prefer soft yolk, the egg was perfect. Portion slightly small.

Ordered via WhatsApp and prompt collection of food with no need for queue. Nasi lemak blue pea rice with Curry Chap Chai and Har Cheong Kai and Rendang Pasta with broiled Broccoli and Fried Fish Fillets and of cos the soft-boiled eggs.

Awesome beehoon with Curry Chap chai. Too bad the fried fish is sold out.

A. Rendang Chicken with Bluepea Rice, soft-center Egg and Curry Chap Cai
B. Breaded Fish Fillet with Bluepea Rice, soft-center Egg and Curry Chap Cai
Rice portion might be too little for the guys but they do make it up with the large portion of Protein. No complaints for that.

Today's menu is Rendang Pasta with Garlicky Honey Grill Chicken, broiled Brocolli and Soft-Centered Eggs. YUM!!! I'm already on what to eat for next week.
