简单是一种美德, definitely describes the plate of butterfly blue pea rice nasi lemak that I recently had @simple.dailyfood2 . The store is definitely a hidden gem located at CT Hub 2.

Finally visited the store and we were impressed by the har cheong chicken. Freshly prepared upon order, the chicken chop marinated in homemade prawn paste was succulent, cripsy and tasty!

Definitely looking forward to visit the store again to try the other options such as the Special Simple’s Noodle (available on Tuesday & Thursday) and their clean series is also available for those who prefers something healthier! Whereas for the protein, the rendang chicken and the Japanese Kabayaki Unagi seems like something which I would enjoy.

Note: The store only operates on Mon - Fri (11am to 3pm). Be there early to avoid disappointment!

Very tasty and a great option for work day lunches, the chicken is grilled on the spot and is delightfully flavourful

Blue Nasi Lemak ($6.50)
Salivating over nasi lemak by @simple.dailyfood2 . Tucked away at the ground floor of CThub, this is a pleasant find for lunch any day. The nasi lemak is a steal as $6.50 gets the full works of ingredients including ikan bilis, peanuts, runny egg, cucumber, sambal, and a choice between rendang, har cheong and grilled chicken. I went with the har cheong, which had a very light and crispy crust and juicy flesh. Another fantastic part about this place is the drinks menu. A butterfly pea brown sugar soy milk costs just $2. Do note that the nasi lemak is only available on mon, wed and fri.

The har chiong gai chicken ($6.5) was juicy tender and nicely coated with prawn paste batter. If you prefer something cleaner, opt for the clean sides which consist of sweet potato and brocolli. The rendang chicken had a good mixture of spices. The butterfly pea coconut rice did not have a strong enough coconut fragrance to it which was rather disappointing. Overall food was great and will definitely visit again

One of the best nasi lemak ever eaten.
I ordered the standard with har cheong gai and the chicken was tender, so crispy and not that oily.

They are having rendang pasta (also pictured) special now and that was pretty amazing too.

Pretty affordable for the quality - $6ish (additional $1 for the curry veg)

Tip: please dabao unless you want to roast in the heat at their outdoor seating. 😅

Love the Har Cheong Kai chicken in nasi lemak style. And the egg yolks are runny too.
