Interesting take on the national dish. You don't see shell, just the sauce with crab flesh in it. This allows chilli crab to be a wedding dish without getting guests' hands dirty. The version here was quite spicy!

If there's anything hotel banquets get correct, it's soup.

Nice, lobster duo. Tbh the fried one could pass off as crab claw.

Made with quality ingredients and craftsmanship, these goodies are perfect for gifting to friends and family or enjoy as a self-pampering treat at home. Coming out from the kitchen of Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant, you can be assured on the quality and flavour such as the bestsellers of Koi Fish Nian Gao ($58, 4-6 pax), Signature Bak-Kwah Cornflake Cookies ($42, 170g) and Signature Pineapple Tarts ($42, 200g). Your guests can now enjoy these CNY treats, together with the Eight Treasures Cake ($66, 1kg) and the iconic Golden Nian Gao Tarts.

For the past couple of years, I always look forward to these Golden Nian Gao Tarts ($28-$32 for 8pcs) and it comes with a buttery tart shell with a filling of nian gao and previously yam. This year, there are a total of four different flavours to choose from, from the bestseller Yam to Purple Sweet Potato and the new creations for this year, Chocolate and Pineapple.

All orders are available for drive-through collection and islandwide delivery (link below), and you wouldn’t want to miss out on them.

From the acclaimed Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant, there are customizable bentos priced from $15 which come with 4 dishes of a meat (poultry, beef, pork), seafood, beancurd and vegetables with a choice of white or brown rice, and a complimentary dessert. This is absolutely value-for-money for the quality and variety that you are getting for each bento. What I have feasted on include the Hong Kong style soya sauce chicken, sauteed grouper fillet with XO sauce, seaweed beancurd with assorted mushroom and broccoli with crab meat egg white sauce. Besides that, Wan Hao will also be offering $15nett Dim Sum Bento and 30% off takeaway on their ala carte dishes. To commemorate the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival, Wan Hao will also be offering 15% off the restaurant’s handcraft rice dumplings with a minimum purchase of 4 pieces. There is a total of 5 flavours with 3 new ones such as the 5-head Australian Abalone with Iberico and Parma Ham, and Sichuan Pepper Chicken with Lotus Root, Fungus, Peanuts and Mushrooms.

For Marriott Café, their bentos range from $10nett to $25nett with unique combinations such as The French ($15nett) that comes with sous vide braised beef cheek, potato aligot and buttered broccoli almondine. Both Crossroads and Marriott Café will also be participating in this takeaway promotion with up to 30% off ala carte menu and 20% off set menus. There will be complimentary islandwide delivery with a minimum spend of $150 (after discounts).
