TRES LECHES ($7.90)
Okay when this touched my tongue, I died a little inside. Soaked in 3 types of milk, it literally MELTED in my mouth🥺 It’s basically a less-sweet cake version of condensed milk🍼, with the pistachios giving a nice crunch

TRADITIONAL BLACK FOREST CAKE ($8.90)
Other than the cake being really moist, it wasn’t special. But the sour cherry taste was stronger and lingered longer than most black forest cakes I’ve tried, which I greatly appreciated🍒

I don't know why their cake is not strong taste and not that consistent (sometimes have). Hmmmm their cherry is nt absorbed into the alcohol too long also. Their cream was quite smooth and not that thick.

Ever since I found out that Sinpopo sold salted egg cookies back in like 2017 or something, I've been wanting to try them so bad but that price tag was a super effective repellent. However, since there was a set offer of $19.90 with a tub of kaya, I decided to finally get it.

The cookies are super small and quite crumbly, with curry leaves stacked on every layer of the container. You know the little salted egg crumbles you get in a pack of Irvin's chips? It basically tastes like that in cookie form, just that it's distinctively sweeter. There is a pretty nice and strong salted egg flavour to it, unlike those cheap neighbourhood kinds that have barely any salted egg flavour at all. The taste of the cookie and the curry leaves continue to linger in the mouth even minutes after eating it, which is a good sign to me 😛

Glad that I finally got to try these cookies and YES they are good, but I would never ever pay $18 for such a small tub. So while it was a good experience, I wouldn't get it again.

⭐ Rating: 9/10 jar jar binkses
🤑 worth the price: no
🦖 would I buy again: not for $18, never lmao
💍 would I marry: yess

Absolutely delicious. The slightly milk soaked sponge was good on its own but there's a slight savoury taste too and a hint of pistachio in the background. Absolutely brilliant and a must try!

I've waited so long before finally getting a slice and I think it's worth the wait

Every single one of them was amazing i must say. The best one was the cinnamon roll. it’s a must try ! Although i’m not a big fan of apple desserts, this one was a subtle and impressive apple tart :) I was pleased with it !

Very slightly dry, but that could be due to being in my fridge for 2 days. Taste was really good. Not sweet, with a sourish tang from the lemon and yoghurt. Quite pricey, but definitely on my list if I wanna splurge.
