More Reviews of good food at Sisterfields

Famous brunch spot located at Seminyak in Bali, great for other wonderful delicious brunch style savory and sweet plates. But when for the açaí bowl and honestly, no regrets!

Extremely crowded place for brunch but worth every minute of wait. ‘Cos by the headcount on a weekday morning you know the food must be goooood!) We waited for about 15minutes only tho! Service and turnover was rather quick, perhaps due to the spacious area and plenty tables! Tried the eggs benny and while the eggys were SUPER runny! I love how they’re so generous with the sinfully luscious hollandaise blanket. If you’re concerned about cheap bacon (like me), it’ll be heartening to know that it’s not the case here! So nothing like store-bought, overly limp looking and salty bacon spoiling your morning. For a refreshing and clean drink to balance out the sins from rather sinful brekkies, try the selections of smoothies! ‘Pash Me’ was a berry good mix with some passionfruit added for some crunch. Pretty addictive and velvety!

One of the best pancake dishes I’ve had in my life 😭 the pancakes were of a perfect airy texture and went perfectly with the strawberry compote, white chocolate cream, raspberry sorbet and matcha granola.

Of course we went to the famous Sisterfields and ordered their All Day breakfast items. Who could resist their French toast and pancakes that’s so aesthetically pleasing and tastes pretty darn good. You definitely can’t get them in Singapore at this price and quality.

Chocolate Brioche French Toast IDR98,000

Mornin bliss is having a splendid breakfast before starting on anything. So let’s have Omelette de Abruzzo that’s blasted with stracciatella, green olive, semi-dried tomatoes, basil, and grilled focaccia at the side.

The place is spacious with high ceiling and tungsten light plus there’s both indoor and outdoor porch dining area! They serve an all-day breakfast, brunch and lunch menu alongside a wide range of coffees, cakes and pastries.

With an extensive menu, we were lost at what to order and decided on Charcoal Breakfast Burger (IDR95k), Omelette de Abruzzo (IDR100k), gluten-free Al Pastor Tacos (IDR120k) and of course their Polenta Fries (IDR75k). Love how they turn polenta into fries, making it easier to munch on and added parmesan cheese and truffle aioli was a nice touch!

The name brioche french toast is probably one of the most mainstream among french toast, the taste edges thay mainstreamness though. Nice crust, custardy inside, complimented by the crumbs and ice cream. There is a little bit of matcha im here 4.25/5

Sisterfields kinda feel like another one of thoae australian brunch kind of cafe. Do note that this place gets very busy early in the morning

The braised short ribs here are served with poached eggs and corn fritters. The ribs were tender and somewhat kinda resemble the rendang, taste-wise 4.25/5

We were lucky to get a table in 15 mins on a Saturday peak brunch period, tho I was v unsure about having brunch in Bali. To my delight, the eggs ben w smoked salmon (SGD15) was served on a warmed plate, perfectly well poached eggs oozing yolk onto the open crumb toast topped with pepper sauce. Best hangover food!!! ☺️

Described as crackling pork belly... But it wasn't. Nevertheless, it was a real fatty pork belly that simply melts away in the mouth. The sauce it is drenched in tastes a little of peppercorns, soy and ma you, which complements the protein well. And surprise within the plate has got to be the rice crispies, which adds a nice texture to the dish.

And well an espresso martini because... well, just because.
Vietnamese chicken salad with hand pressed coconut cream, roasted rice crumbs, sweet pink pomelo and a very generous serving of poached chicken with nam jim. #sisterfieldsbali #burpple

🍽: Sisterfields

🚇: Let's wait another 40 years?
📍: Jalan Kayu Cendana No.7, Seminyak, Kuta, Kerobokan Kelod, Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

Back to Sisterfield's again! I have to say this place is still on the top of my list whenever I'm in Bali. They serve great food and their hospitality is wonderful! The menu ranges from refreshingly sweet acai bowls, to chunky and savoury Spicy Salmon Tartare, and not forgetting the polenta fries! Everything just ticks the right box.

Just take note, the price may be on the high side but it is still cheaper than Singapore comparing the size and the quality.

Escape from reality and Rejuvenation of my soul are top on my checklists now. Bali is indeed the place, where these checklist are all checked.

Sisterfield, is one of the top recommended place to go. The place is packed as early as 8am and it maybe even filled till 11am. Don't turn the blind eye on this. It's able to give you a refreshing taste. What made the bowl much more enjoyable was the natural sweetness from the blended fruits and the chewy texture from granola and berries. It's worth every single penny!

Overall, Bali served great brunch menu. In fact, in my opinion. I think it maybe even better than SG. Although the price maybe same as sg prices, but your tummy will be truly satisfied.

Satisfying brunch in this Aussie cafe. Portions were just nice for sharing between two, and food was not absolutely stunning but still worth experiencing if you're in the Seminyak area.

This is the 3rd cafe and I just have to applaud the cafes in Bali for the huge and successful emphasis on ambience (do not forget to pay the clean pretty washrooms a visit too 😛). Another cafe that made us go "what a pretty place" as we entered.
You will find typical brunch fare of eggs, pancakes, muesli and acai bowl (for the health conscious) here.
While my pancakes were not fantastic, my energize smoothie saved the day! Do give their smoothies a try, being made with fresh ingredients, they are not overly/artificially sweet.
My friends were also all very satisfied with their respective egg dishes, acai bowl and muesli. This is the sister company of boss man burgers so you could expect most of their food items to be very satisfying, made of good ingredients in generous portions.

Good find by @jac_sng. They have this delicious peanut butter soy smoothie which is yum and they serve piggy ears 🐷😁👍🏼

Today I opt for a change from my usual latte. Choose flat white instead and it cost me $2.80 only . Bali really did their coffee beans proud.

One week ago at this time, I'd just landed in Bali, mere hours away from tucking into this slab of fatty pork belly. The slow-cooked meat was meltingly tender and succulent, but was let down by a chewy skin that wasn't crisped up enough. The Asian slaw on the side was nice and bright, though it could have done with a spark more acidity and chilli.

First lunch in Bali and it sure didn't disappoint. A 160g beef patty done to perfect medium doneness, slathered with mustard aioli, topped with smoked cheddar and a sweet-ish onion ring – so good to tuck in to. And those crispy fries... 😍 All this at only about S$9. Mad.

Looking forward to another five more days of awesome (and cheap) food!
