Turn the heat up on a decadent dinner at SKIRT at W Singapore – Sentosa Cove, a trailblazing steakhouse, where prime cuts of meat and fresh seafood are beautifully prepared on the centrepiece parilla grill. Three culinary rules of sourcing only the finest sustainable ingredients, simple yet skillful preparations featuring the South American asador technique and an inherent respect for nature are embodied in SKIRT’s raw organic design, featuring a hanging glass horn installation, leather chandeliers, chopping blocks suspended on chains, a marble countertop in the open kitchen, wooden panels and leather trimmings framing the grill, and floral-handled brass cutlery. The dinner experience at one of Sentosa’s best restaurants is inherent in each detail characterising the chef’s collaborative ethos of technique and ingredients, beginning from the butterflies on the reception stand to lighting and wood panels that complement the sensational aromas emanating from the grill.

Thoroughly enjoyed Skirt’s grazing menu that comes with the following :

Freshly baked focaccia and sourdough
Amuse bousche of beef tartare
Starters consisting of,
Grilled pedron peppers and
Grilled crawfish
Palette cleanser : a shooter of apple + bourbon whiskey
Main course of a flat iron steak and grilled brocollini (we ordered extra mashed pots and lobster Mac n cheese)
Chocolate dessert

Portions were hearty and we left happy.

You can now enjoy a variety of food and beverage options from W Singapore with their Take It Away menu that delivers favourites from SKIRT, The Kitchen Table and WOOBAR right to your doorsteps. Pictured is a spread of food from both SKIRT and WOOBAR, with the former proudly showcasing their newly launched Grandma’s Beef Ribs, a 16-hour slow-cooked tender beef ribs that is prepared by a recipe from Chef Paolo Sanapo’s grandma. The beef ribs come in a package that includes SKIRT’s renowned house-made focaccia bread, signature sauce in a bottle and add-ons such as savoury side dishes, sweet treats or cocktails, priced at $42 for 1 rib + 1 add-on, $78 for 2 ribs + 2 add-ons and $138 for 4 ribs + 4 add-ons. For my 2 beef ribs, I opted for their widely popular pork mac & cheese and truffle fries as my add-ons. There is an ongoing promotion whereby you can enjoy free islandwide delivery on your entire cart with any order of the beef ribs now.

From WOOBAR, we have the Kiwi Tuna makimono and two of their new cocktails in the Seaside Queen ($15), a base made from plantation rum and elderflower liqueur, shaken with mangosteen syrup, fresh grapefruit juice and lemon juice , and Smack Jack ($15) which contains Jack Daniel’s, Kahlua and mint.

food was good and the view was stunning.
the skirt steak was the signature but felt that it wasn’t as raw & soft as we would have liked it though we got the medium rare.

loved the iberico pork tomahawk!! there’s more fatty parts than we expected, but the fat was so well rendered and smooth to cut thru. it didn’t leave behind a greasy aftertaste & went so well with the sides!! the bread was more than amazing!!! if i ever go back, it’ll be more for the bread than anything else. it’s soft, warm, lightly salted and absolutely delicious 🤤🤤🤤 we ended up finishing the entire tray though we were so full cause of the mains.
def a place to go back too, and special shoutout to the nicest staff ever - jack. & did i mention that the view outside was stunning??

The pricing is pretty okay considering the promo with Amex card.

And I thought it's Saturday tomorrow, so I was all ready to go down to Skirt for their lunch menu only available on Saturdays.
I had this dessert during my previous Saturday lunch visit, and it's very much like the Golden Gaytime ice cream I had in Australia. Dolce de leche ice cream with dark chocolate, served with honey comb on a bed of nuts.
