Some days all you need is a good brunch to kick start the weekend! Simple French toast made with thick, soft and fluffy brioche sandwiched with marshmallow filling and finished off with crunchy honey comb bits and maple syrup!

Best ricotta pancake in town! With really mild fragrance of ricotta and passion-fruit butter, topped with nut brittles and maple syrup. It’s the perfect brekky on a plate. It’s really tough to find an establishment with such standard for ricotta pancakes!

Another pretty item that was a cross between cheesecake and ice cream. Nice palate cleanser after a heavy brunch.

My favourite item for brunch that day was this item which was hiding obscurely in the dessert section of the menu. I guess thats why it was priced reasonably for the smallish portion. Ingenious idea to sandwich nutella and melted marshmallows between those two fluffy eggy pieces of broiche. Would be even better with some vanilla ice cream.

Located at 10 Winstedt Rd, Block E #01-17 Singapore 227977. S’more French Toast, $12. Happy Mid-week with these sweet French Toast with Honeycomb and Maple Syrup! There’s also chocolate spread in between those savoury toast too! 😍 @skyvesg #hungryunicornsg #skyvesg #frenchtoast #smorefrenchtoast #skyvebistro

Who would expect to find a Zi Char dish on the menu but given a modern twist with French techniques, using regional and local produce. The atas plate of sang mee even comes with abalone, mussels and half a lobster, in a egg drop soup. It is a familiar dish that is close to the heart and comforting, yet given a luscious interpretation.

Simple fusion bowl like Spam Musubi ($11) or Pork Cheek Burger ($25) that’s served with fries and kimchi. But Buttermilk Fried Chicken ($20), juicy chicken coated in herbs atop soft brioche and drizzled with salted maple syrup, was my favourite for the brunch menu.

Remember how much I love their classic french toast when I visited last year? They had since revamped and launched an all-day brunch during the weekend, which includes S'more French Toast .

A delicious twist on classic french toast that’s stuffed with marshmallows and chocolate, decorated with honeycomb and maple syrup. Delighted to find their brioche is still pillowy soft but for non sweet tooth it does get cloying so best for sharing.

Located in windsdet drive, the place kinda feels out of place. I mean this place sure is cozy.

Buttermilk fried chicken ($20)-served with mqple syrup, brioche and confit tomato. Chicken fillet was moist, drenched in maple kinda made it a bit soggy, the tomatoes has that acidity that taste so well with the chicken 4.25/5

Crispy noodles that soak up thick, savoury egg drop soup, and a half lobster, with a very nice, meaty claw 😍

Duck is an uncommon and challenging protein to lock down, but @skyvesg got their version just right.
The cilantro and chili definitely takes the natural gaminess of the duck away and gives it an extra facet of flavour.
What we’re left with us the tender, juicy meat that lies on a bed of Quinoa and Edamame with an occasional dollop of corn ricotta.

Took my Mom here for Mother's Day and immediately regretted it for the following reasons:
1. My mom ordered a salad that had beets and pumpkins. She doesn't like beets, so wanted to remove the beets and suggested that they just make up the difference by adding a bit more pumpkins. Apparently you have to pay extra to have more pumpkin even though you are saving on the bets. HATE places that are so cheapskate. Don't they know what customer delight means?
2. They place Fiji water bottles on each table to trick you into drinking them and subsequently paying for them - don't fall for this and order iced water instead.
3. Food was SO mediocre for the price. I ordered the portobello burger ($34) (above) while my parents ordered the duck confit (which I read good reviews about on Burpple). My parents were very underwhelmed and didn't even comment on the food. Each duck leg is served with a tablespoon of mash and is about $34 if I'm not wrong. Food was just SO blah.

Take your money somewhere else. La Petite Cuisine at Serene Centre has excellent duck confit at only $18. Avoid this place.

TL: yummilicious egg sphagetinni with Pharma ham (great that they come in a starter portion so you can order other food & mains) TR: good 'ol beef burger with foie gras butter and truffle fries
BL: skyve's beef Wellington - recommended BR: excellent deconstructed snickers bar dessert

Definitely, one of the better few I had recently. At least until I'm in Tokyo!

We were slightly disappointed when they presented the dish as it hardly looks appetising due to the brown hues and lack of berries. But oh boy, just goes to prove how wrong we were to judge it by it's "cover".

Soft pillowy cinnamon brioche toast, a layer of raspberry cream cheese, finished off with toasted almonds and honeycomb. The dash of creaminess between each bite combined with sweet maple syrup is just delicious~

Great ambiance, nice place to relax, dine and sip a cocktail or Two. Indulged in an affogato, the vanilla ice cream was simply beautiful, creamy and rich.
Top: The Skyving Breakfast was tasty and well seasoned with sous-vide egg.
Bottom Right: Smoked Duck Tortilla was soooo yummy.
Salads on both dishes were very tasty too with a sour vinegarette sauce. Their take on a classic mojito was great! Must schedule a trip back for dinner 😊#weekendtreats #burpple

Tucked away in an old school campus within lush greenery, this chic yet comfortable place is great for us to SKYVE!

Sous-vide Eggs Benedict ($20) is a simple breakfast dish. Eggs on honey baked ham and English muffin, hollandaise drizzled over, accompanied with a side of wild mushrooms and tomato confit. Using sous-vide egg instead of poached egg you get a more runny egg plus Chef is particular about the temperature used to cook them. Hollandaise is more citrusy but not overpowering.
