Disappointing And Incredibly Overpriced - Will Not Return

Took my Mom here for Mother's Day and immediately regretted it for the following reasons:
1. My mom ordered a salad that had beets and pumpkins. She doesn't like beets, so wanted to remove the beets and suggested that they just make up the difference by adding a bit more pumpkins. Apparently you have to pay extra to have more pumpkin even though you are saving on the bets. HATE places that are so cheapskate. Don't they know what customer delight means?
2. They place Fiji water bottles on each table to trick you into drinking them and subsequently paying for them - don't fall for this and order iced water instead.
3. Food was SO mediocre for the price. I ordered the portobello burger ($34) (above) while my parents ordered the duck confit (which I read good reviews about on Burpple). My parents were very underwhelmed and didn't even comment on the food. Each duck leg is served with a tablespoon of mash and is about $34 if I'm not wrong. Food was just SO blah.

Take your money somewhere else. La Petite Cuisine at Serene Centre has excellent duck confit at only $18. Avoid this place.

Lovely #dinnerdate in a nice warm ambiance.

TL: yummilicious egg sphagetinni with Pharma ham (great that they come in a starter portion so you can order other food & mains) TR: good 'ol beef burger with foie gras butter and truffle fries
BL: skyve's beef Wellington - recommended BR: excellent deconstructed snickers bar dessert

French Toast ($20)

Definitely, one of the better few I had recently. At least until I'm in Tokyo!

We were slightly disappointed when they presented the dish as it hardly looks appetising due to the brown hues and lack of berries. But oh boy, just goes to prove how wrong we were to judge it by it's "cover".

Soft pillowy cinnamon brioche toast, a layer of raspberry cream cheese, finished off with toasted almonds and honeycomb. The dash of creaminess between each bite combined with sweet maple syrup is just delicious~

Lovely find this Sunday morning!

Great ambiance, nice place to relax, dine and sip a cocktail or Two. Indulged in an affogato, the vanilla ice cream was simply beautiful, creamy and rich.
Top: The Skyving Breakfast was tasty and well seasoned with sous-vide egg.
Bottom Right: Smoked Duck Tortilla was soooo yummy.
Salads on both dishes were very tasty too with a sour vinegarette sauce. Their take on a classic mojito was great! Must schedule a trip back for dinner 😊#weekendtreats #burpple

Loafing breakfast time.

Tucked away in an old school campus within lush greenery, this chic yet comfortable place is great for us to SKYVE!

Sous-vide Eggs Benedict ($20) is a simple breakfast dish. Eggs on honey baked ham and English muffin, hollandaise drizzled over, accompanied with a side of wild mushrooms and tomato confit. Using sous-vide egg instead of poached egg you get a more runny egg plus Chef is particular about the temperature used to cook them. Hollandaise is more citrusy but not overpowering.

Fruit Tartlets & Milk Choc Mousse

Delicious fruit tarts, in it lies a thick swirl of custard, topped with strawberry, raspberry & blueberry, I ate 5...of these.

Passionfruit white chocolate mousse, white choc custard with a layer of passionfruit slab, yummy~

Amazing food, impeccable service

Second time here & still ever impressed with the food and service at Skyve :) Tried the sous vide egg spaghettini and it was perfectly executed with the right balance of truffle salsa

Great Food

The signature Egg & Spaghettini - creamy torched hollandaise, super generous and fragrant truffle that enveloped each bite of al dente pasta! The fume poulet was great as well, with smokey skin and succulent meat. #BurppleXChope

Sticky Date Pudding

Sweet, melt in your mouth vanilla ice cream and date pudding with a hint of cinnamon spice and a couple of hazel nuts for the crunch

Breakfast Burger

Toastie buns, with hash and a huge beef patty topped with a sunny side up. Served with side of truffle fries and Bearnaise sauce. Filling and yummy!

Sou Vide Egg Benedict ($19)

This sou vide egg benedict is absolutely divine, the yolk run so freely, it's like releasing the whale in "Free Willy". And that hollandaise sauce, simply perfect, and slightly charred on top is genius. It hard to find great hollandaise sauce, which will leave you wanting more, most in Singapore just gave me a oily after taste.

[New review] We were recently invited to try out Skyve Wine Bistro's new a la carte dinner menu, which included Uni Spaghettini ($20++ for appetiser, $38++ for main), Daizu Portobello Burger ($34++) and this Dessert Platter ($25++)!

The dessert platter consists of miniature portions of Tiramisu, Lime Semifreddo, Prefect’s Chocolate Pudding, Pumpkin Pie and Snicker Bar. What more could we want? 😋

[WINDSTETD RD] Uni pasta!

Interesting but fell short of expectations. The sauce was too sweet for my liking. But the ambience and company still made up for it! 🙆🏻

Sous Vide Beef Rosette

Chargrilled grassfed tenderloin wrapped in bacon, foie gras butter, wild mushroom ragout, truffle & potato mash, baby asparagus, thyme jus.

This is so sinful and delicious I can't stop thinking about it. The beef was so succulent , it just melts in your mouth. Pair it with the soft and fluffy truffle and potato mash, you are on your way to la la land

Eat with with Entertainer App to enjoy 1 for 1 main course !

Sous Vide Beef Rosette

[$45] Chargrilled beef tenderloin wrapped with bacon

Ordered a medium for myself and as silly as this may sound, the tenderloin was truly tender. Well seasoned and the foie grass butter complimented it nicely. I thoroughly enjoyed having the truffle potato mash together with the beef cos it gave me a nice mix of flavours!!

Atmosphere was really good for a night out with friends :) Definitely worth a visit!
