Heard about this newly opened, instagrammable pink café in Bugis and it attracted me to visit this place. We came here for their Bingsu, which unfortunately, were all not available at that time. But hey, it's okay! They have many other options on their menu, including my fave soufflé pancakes. Naturally, I ordered their Brown Sugar Boba Soufflé, because, BOBA.

And then, the waiting game commences.

We waited a whole hour for the buzzer to start vibrating, so the soufflé better got to impress us. But it didn't. Yes, although the soufflé pancakes were fluffy, soft, slightly airy, melt as you bite into them, and not at all eggy too, we were given 2 pieces with only 6 to 8 bobas, 5 small slices of banana, and 2 tiny scoops of vanilla ice cream. All these for $15.90, and after waiting 1 hour. It wasn't worth it at all.

The only redeeming point was how well the sweet cream sauce on top complimented the pancakes. Other than that, I just wished everything was ×2 or ×3 the amount, then I probably would have left the café wanting to come back again. But nope. If I'm ever back again, it's because I'm nearby the café and suddenly had cravings for desserts.

To describe the entire experience might not be my best judgement as I do not visit such cutesy cafes but in terms of the items in the menu, there are plenty for you to choose from such as the Mango Ice with Rice Ball ($6.90) and Thai Milk Tea Bingsu that we have gotten to share. All in all, a pretty decent location for an after-meal sweet treat but with the fierce competition of desserts around the same vicinity, Smile Dessert definitely stood out in terms of its appearance and décor. Will I queue again for this? If the other dessert places nearby such as Ah Chew or Honeymoon Dessert have no queue, I will definitely head there instead. But if Smile Dessert has a shorter queue compared to the rest, I just might visit this place again, for its variety of dessert choices.

Be wow by the numerous Instagram worthy spots within the cafe!
* Level 2 - expect a ball pen with lovely pink and grey shades. Or that pink trolley for a utterly cute OOTD shot~
* Level 3 is quite spacious with a Princessy corner! It does get hot in the afternoon, though they have power plugs making it a great alternative WFH venue.
