Texture tasted really soft and light and we loved it, if only it could be less sweet
The choux pastry had a great texture, slightly crispy on the outside. Was filled with hazelnut and whipped cream, and something that tasted like hazelnut which i loved as it added texture and flavour.
Each piece of escargot was too tiny, one can barely taste it.. but they also added vegetables (we tasted capsicum, tomatoes, onion) which made the dish rather interesting. The garlic taste wasn't really apparent. Probably our least favourite dish of the meal.
We asked for some bread to go with it and they passed us a complimentary basket.
The mashed potato was really delicious too with the sauce and portion was generous, we really enjoyed this! (And everything we had at So France!)
Crispy but tender... a fork could barely hold the duck meat together. Texture was superb but tastewise too salty. Would eat it again though! The potatoes on the side were addictive too.
Far from wimpy, this tasty salad is sure to satisfy even the meat-lovers because of the cured duck meat, duck gizzard, shaved foie gras and crispy lardons thrown in with the mixed greens, tomatoes, walnuts and croutons.
