Miss bkk so came here for lunch. The basil pork was just nice and tasty. $6 nett

Had always wanted to try Soi Thai Kitchen for a while having heard good stuff about their other outlets at Serangoon Gardens and Jurong West — just had to give it a go having come across the outlet at JCube. Really like the Drunken Noodles here; unlike the variant served at Kra Pow which comes with wok hei and all spicy and peppery, the one served at Soi Thai Kitchen comes with slurpy kway Teow cooked in a sweet sauce that comes with a refreshing hint of lemongrass (?). Included with the noodles are some greens and baby corn for some crunch, some chunks of chicken for a meaty bite, and chili for an extra kick of spiciness — a pretty delicious affair that comes with a multitude of flavours; something which carries a great contrast of flavours which we would certainly be back for more again when the craving hits.

If you are looking for comforting & delicious Thai food at a wallet-friendly price, why not check out Soi Thai Kitchen at Jcube. They are located on the fourth level, just beside the theatre, which makes it convenient for you to have a meal after watching a good movie.

Everything goes well with rice, and it's not surprising if you decides to request for extra serving of rice

Here's the items we had;

Premium Fried Pork Cheek ($12)
Fried Chicken Skin ($5)
Yellow Curry Seafood ($12)
Sambal Clams ($12)
Tom Yam Soup ($7)
Claypot Prawn Vermicelli ($14)
Seabass with Thai Chilli Sauce ($23)

Thanks @singaporefoodlisting and @jcube_mall for the invitation and @soithai_jcube for having us.

Had the green curry and the clear chicken tom yum soup, and the green curry was really disappointing. It tasted like all cream & milk and had almost no green curry flavour - it was like drinking a really milky curry that tasted unlike normal green curry we’ve had elsewhere. The tom yam soup was decent, but nothing to shout about - I still prefer Nakhon’s clear tom yum soup that really packs a punch.

We had the Honey Chicken and the Basil Pork ($7 each) - the honey chicken was decent, not over-fried like some places I’ve tried, and the basil pork was really good, the pork pieces were soft and it was sufficiently spicy for my palate.
