Located in an industrial estate, Soi 47’s second outlet is located near Lavender/ Bendemeer. With most of its dishes priced below $10 and Thai chefs, Soi 47 promises an authentic experience. We ordered the cashew chicken ($6.80) which came in a sweet-sour sauce, capsicums and onions. I found the batter a bit thick and fat, but the dish was certainly flavourful and fulfilling! The tom khai ($6.80) was much thinner than expected, with little coconut milk. It was however generous with its seafood - containing prawns, mussels, squid and some battered fish. We ordered the ice thai milk tea ($3) and ice lemongrass ($2.50). Similarly found the drinks diluted and a tad too sweet. The meal was definitely made worthwhile with burpple beyond’s 1-for-1 main dish & drink!

You can’t go wrong when you dine at Soi 47. Decent place with decent food & services + decent prices
Especially love ❤️ the tang hoon 😀

A generous serving of curry and best served over a bowl of piping hot rice. The ingredients are generous as well, with pieces of chicken and green beans. I highly recommend taking each spoonful with the thai basil leaves as it adds so much freshness in flavor. Although super creamy and savory, I wished that there was more spice in the gravy.

Classic red ruby for $3 nett (this place has no GST/service charge woohoo) and the serving for this dessert was massive. The coconut milk/syrup was not overly sweet and the crunchy chestnut pieces gave a nice textural contrast to the dish. However, I wished the pieces of ice were of a finer texture.

Fish is not under Burpple beyond but dishes were really good sized and yummy to boot. Awesome place for large groups, definitely a Nakhon contender

Tomyum fried rice tasted like tomato fried rice, tomyum was so-so too, even thai style kangkong was forgettable. Only commendable dish is the thai style fried omelette and the lemongrass drink. Quite off course so won’t be coming back again....
