Taking everyone's advice, we added vermicelli and still it wasn't a big portion. Definitely add vermicelli

The sauce is simply amazing. Incredibly punchy, it's thickened and full of seafood umami(there's even fish I think). Very sweet too but not in an unpleasant way it's very well balanced, all the way to the black pepper.

The crab itself is very fresh and the meat was v sweet and tender, but the roe is avg. Skip the crab and get the huge prawns, it's much faster to eat and probably more satisfying

Must try, the sauce is unbelievable

Really famous for the claypot seafood vermicelli to both locals and tourists alike, we had to try it once as we love our seafood.

The Claypot Prawn (270 Baht) came with 4 enormous prawns which were really fresh and plump. Very meaty, you can really taste its sweetness in each bite. It will be great to mix the vermicelli well with the sauce below, which reminds me of a garlicky soya sauce mix which is nice at first, but can tend to get salty after a while.

The Claypot Roe Crab (500 Baht) came really small sadly, and although it was fresh, the amount of effort to peel the crab to reveal only a small handful of meat is really not too worth it in my opinion.

We realised that the sauce in the claypot noodles lacked the seafood flavour and that made us wonder if they were cooked together at all.

I would still think this is a place you can try once, but I don't think I will come back again soon 😂
