Together with my takeaway was the breaded salmons came in a few pieces. I do enjoy the crunchy skin with the tartar sauce but a bit oily to me.

Here we are again on the food takeaway period, with no dine-in allowed.

Was in town to purchase some stuffs and decided to try this place.

I was very sad when I back home and realised my order of Volcano Beef Don actually come without the spicy sauce. It is just a plain beef don that I gotten.

Without the sauce, luckily the beef slices itself still juicy and chewy. Although Iā€™m expecting it to be much tastier with the sauce.

Anyway, this place serves relatively affordable dons (and customizable bowls too). For the quality and amount of food, the money is worth it. The Snow Beef Don, one of the signature bowls, is filled with a generous serving of beef - the photo shows the amount given, for a regular bowl! Topped with parmesan cheese and a sweet-savoury creamy sauce. Plus, it's served with either mixed vegetables or bean sprouts, which I thought was a smart idea as it provided some crunch. The beef was tasty and tender. However, I'd recommend this only to people who like creamy and cheesy food. The taste is rather strong.

I was very impressed by the cheest, creamy sauce that coated the beef. It felt like an "ang moh" version of the gyu don! Beef was sliced just the right thickness and performed well as vessels for the sauce to cling on to. The additional crunch from the beansprouts enhanced the mouthfeel and flavours of each bite.

Chicken Teriyaki Toji Don (Regular Size - $8.50) I realised that portion size is quite good and I didn't expected they put a lot of ingredients such as diced chicken meats and scrambled eggs inside the dons. For the sauce, I felt less salty and diced chicken seemed to be bland taste but scrambled egg is slightly salty probably mixing with soya bean. I ordered Chawanmushi + Drinks (Regular - 12 oz) ($2.90) as a set meal because I felt thirsty and hungry after walking.

Quite worth given that the salmon is a huge slab as compared to other restaurants. Cha soba is good as well. Chicken cutlet is just like any other normal chicken cutlet. Would like to give their curry dishes a try in the future. šŸ˜‹
