This is the Creamy Tomato Basil soup with a Sesame Chicken Popiah and a cup of hot genmaicha. I was so favorably impressed by this!!

The popiah was loaded full of veggies and drizzled with a rich creamy sesame sauce. Crunchy bits, soft starchy popiah skin and meaty chicken flesh added a medley of flavors and textures that I adored. It was just the perfect companion for hot, tangy tomato soup. The genmaicha was a refreshing palate cleanser to sip on between bites.

2 Souper Meal sets only cost $9.80 and altogether made a healthy, fuss-free and very filling meal (my dining partner was a guy some more). It is really a great deal thanks to Burpple Beyond!

Been a huge fan of Souperstar. Tomato soup tastes abit too sour but still worth it with the 1 for 1 - no complaints

What’s good about the (far) East of Singapore? Souperstar On burpplebeyond at Simei AND Tampines; already clocked 2 visits since they came on beyond and more to come (!!!)
Their French onion soup runs out so if you are a fan be sure to make that your choice whenever it is available. To accompany the western selection of soups is an expensive Asian popiah (vis a vis hawker standard), made affordable with beyond. I actually find the in-house made popiah skin good but not revolutionary, yet the popiah fillings make these Chinese wraps great s/o to the generous scoops of fried crunchy batter😬

Hearty soups, salads, sandwiches and popiah for a light lunch option around Simei. For a foolproof option, have the rich and zesty tomato soup with a seafood wasabi mayo popiah featuring fresh prawns.
