Sup Big Breakfast, $23. With the circuit breaker announced yesterday, many of the f&b restaurants are affected as dine in will no longer be allowed. Before the breaker takes effect next Tuesday, we are missing South Union Park’s “Sup Big Breakfast”!

Don't expect something ducky. It's more like a pasta with some duck meat. They used lemon zest and masala cream so the seasoning was quite unique. As reviewed previously, I don't find their homemade tagliatelle special. Also with hazelnuts and spinach.

One of the most interesting things I've eaten. A difficult fusion that succeeded. Pairing a tiny bit of bitter choc with sherry and beef jus created depth and sophistication. I found their homemade tagliatelle too soggy at Eleven Strands but as pappardelle it's perfect because it's not cloying. Proved the age-old truth that food should always be reviewed twice. The braised beef unfortunately was cut from all over and therefore inconsistent.

People said this cafe has great food and I met this astounding dish. People also said this cafe is expensive but this was only $13. That's a halved giant bone topped with squid ink soffritto. To pair with the explosive marrow and fragrant squid ink was grilled country bread, which was supposed to balance out the richness, but was buttered and delicious on its own.

Had this and the pastry which was actually the best seller or recommended. However I thought the brownie tasted so much better! The brownie was packed with flavour and very fudge. The ice cream is a tad sweet but the salt did help cut through. A good vanilla bean ice cream would have been great too!

Chose the duck pasta because it was the most popular. Really love and appreciate the homemade pasta. Cook on it was al dente. But somehow I still prefer a tomato based pasta. Would definitely come back for the pasta!
