Wild mushrooms risotto-lots of mushrooms w truffle, risotto is not hard as well!
Duck confit- w hazelnut, spinach, lemon zest n masala cream. Very unique taste
Apple crumble- Fossilized apple, Greek yogurt n vanilla ice cream. The BEST real apple dessert ever~

Nothing amazing but still a good way to end the meal!

Generous servings of prawns + Super Unami taste. Would be back to try their other pastas!!

It has been some good years with burpple and it made me discover many gems and food with a soul, one of them is South Union Park

They definitely are different from the rest with their innovative menu - chocolate pappardelle?? Duck confit tagliatelle with hazelnut? love this fusion of tastes!

The chocolate blends in so well with the richness of the beef, kind of like beef ragout, and not at all desserty. The pappardelle is freshly made and was silky smooth. Beef chunks were generous and tender too. Would come back to try more on the menu.

Ps. This is a sister chain of eleven strands, which is a pasta master too 💯💯

Thank you Burpple!!! 🎈 🎂 #happyburpday

I tried the duck pasta and pork chop. Before I went there, I heard that the duck pasta was a must-try. However, it was quite salty for my liking and the pasta was a little hard. On the other hand, I felt that the pork chop was really good!! It went well with the cinnamon apple that melts in your mouth! A definitely must-try dish.

On a side note, the price is not nett. It comes up to about $15+ per person. I added a dessert and it came up to $20+ per person.

Wah. Wasn’t expecting it to be good but it was. The beef it was paired with was damn tender and I didn’t realise how good beef tasted w chocolate until this dish. Chocolate taste is veeeery subtle though. Texture of pasta could be more al dente but the flavours made up for it.
