Sometimes, good things come in [or from] mundane form like neighborhood hawker stall.
Take this as an example: Stir fried hor fun with pork, shrimps and veggies. Who would've expect it's strong fragrance and flavor! Wok hei game strong. A bit oily, but hey! Pretty good for a neighborhood hawker zhi char. ❤
Ps. I might be biased cos i like my food brown, and this dish is the closest to kwetiaw goreng back in 🇮🇩. 😅

To my surprise, it was only 5pm and tables were eating roasted meat from this stall. Attracted by the crowd and smell, I decided to join them. .

Good and simple roasted meat rice. The roasted duck had a hint of Chinese herb sweetness which excited my appetite. However, their Char Siew was slightly too lean for my taste. .
