Spago 's chef tasting menu comprises of 8 courses, inclusive of desserts which you can choose from the dessert menu. Pictured is one half of the duo tartare which comprises of big eye tuna, miso and sesame. This is one of my favourites from the menu: the combination of sweetness and nuttiness from the sesame cracker cone that has a crispy texture, filled with fresh tuna sashimi that is marinated in a savoury sauce, topped with bonito flakes.

At $49++ (weekday) / $59++ (weekend) for 3 course lunch, you are getting a great value for your buck's worth. We had the big eye tuna tartare and oysters for starters. Both were impressive. For mains, the duck was too small a portion for me but glad the hub ordered the wagyu burger and the fries were exceptional. For desserts, I asked for a customised sorbet plate because I don't take cheese. Everything was so fabulous, we are definitely going to be back.

Amazingly well priced set menu with incredible choices at only $65!! For a celebrity chef I would have expected the price to be much more. The 'laksa' was the star dish for me as the noodles were a dry laksa but then the broth is poured around the dish enhancing the noodles themselves. I expected the eggplant salad to be more like a salad and not half an eggplant as is, but stick form falafel was a new and fun way to eat it! The kaya in the foie gras was more buttery than sweet which works better. Lastly the brownies were so good but I couldn't finish it as I was so full! Bonus: the cocktails were amazing and huge!! Worth the money. The waitstaff were so knowledgeable and helpful, they clearly know what they're talking about.

It's an amazing experience for a luxurious meal with complimentary breads. In the image you see Big eye tuna tartare cones as one of the starter choices. It's absolutely worth the experience.

💸 Spago Lunch Prix fixe: $49++
Spago takes the win for one of the most worth it 3-course meal in our opinion!! $49++ for the prix fixe lunch set was definitely a steal with every course from the appetiser to dessert being excellently executed.😍 The dishes that took us by surprise were the chicken laksa spring roll, big eye tuna tatare cones and miso broiled ora king salmon which we feel are the must tries at Spago!!💯 We also added an additional $10 to change one of the desserts to the Gianduja "Pot de Creme" which boasted a strong and rich chocolate flavour without being overly sweet.🍫 The portions for each course were pretty sizeable as well, which left us feeling stuffed at the end.😙 For the quality of the food, this course meal was super worth it and we've already made our next reservation to go back to try the other dishes😂

The weekends have been enjoyable as of late #3- and the apex had to Dad’s birthday celebration at Spago. We celebrate birthdays at nice place yearly but far and few of such birthday meals matches up to the one we had at Spago- which makes me grateful since this was Dad’s big 60th birthday ✨

The sweet gesture of a hand signed birthday card was just one of the evidence of excellent service here, but not without excellent food too- what more could one ask for?

Most items warrant their own attention, sadly I have no flattering picture of all of them with the. excuse of poor lighting within the restaurant’s beautiful premises.
For the starters, you’d read all about the “Kaya” Toast which is an ingenious creation of foie gras mousse infused with espresso and the actual prime cut of duck liver. My favourite was the Pumpkin Agnolotti that was rapt - the soft pasta shells and flawlessly smooth pumpkin purée, excellente!

The decision to share the hefty Cote de Bouef and Iberico Pork Mains was wise as we could savor the premium meat cuts without feeling over-satiated. The 3 cheese mashed potatoes that came as a side to the Cote de Bouef felt like an all out stunner to complement the already gratifying meat cut. Beyond the cheese string pull you’d witness when the side is plated, this was the best sort of luxurious mash potatoes you’d ever have or at least I’d ever had.

To end off with dessert, we had a celebratory salted caramel soufflé and chef’s complimentary carrot cake as we sojourned toward the bar area. There is always room for impeccable dessert- neatly encapsulates dessert time when we polished each dessert clean over conversations.
