For the starter, the signature Big Eye Tuna Tartare Cones is definitely something that you must try as it is topped with umami shaved bonito and a hint of spice from the chilli aioli and wasabi.

My main was the Snake River American Wagyu Flat Iron Steak (top-up of $25) which comes in a perfect medium rare doneness that has the nice seared crust with a tender bite in the middle. The steak is served with stir fried bok choy, red onions and shiitake mushrooms which you can enjoy with a bowl of rice.

laska popiah was an interesting dish and i think they pulled it off quite well. laska flavour was there but not super distinct. there were small bits of the noodles

loves the unagi bowl. nothing out of the ordinary- just unagi and rice but it’s was good

The Salmon cooked perfectly and flavourful, the rice, ikura and Pickles compliment the salmon very well. Meanwhile the tuna tartare cones is combination between mild spicy and savoury served in cones

Spago’s style is the complex kind with the perfectly grilled, juicy Angus beef patty joined by bacon and blanketed in a cascading blend of two cheeses - gruyere and aged cheddar. Also found between those glorious golden, soft buns were garlic aioli, lettuce and raw onions (which I love!). Tagging along with it, a literal bucket of very crispy fries which could have easily fed a village.

I always try to order my favourite Amela Tomato Soup as my starter. It comes with housemade crusty bread and whipped tomato butter. When these three elements unite, I can’t help but swoon. A must-try in my opinion.
