Lots of crab meat. Chilli sauce is not too spicy. One of the signature dish here. Finger licking.

Good portion of meat inside. The gravy is just spicy enough and appealing to crab lover's tastebuds.

The taste is definitely there, with good kick from Chilli. But it's gone a little tough after a second round of cooking...

Located in the heart of Chinatown and just a two-minute walk from Chinatown MRT Station, this four-storey restaurant is perfect for accommodating the whole extended family for a meal. Prices are affordable, portions are big and flavours are consistently good. Follow Burpple Tastemaker Felicia Sim's lead and order the Roasted Peking Duck ($58) to share. After savouring the beautifully lacquered skin, the remaining meat can be cooked with either rice or noodles as the main (she does not recommend frying the duck meat with salt and pepper as it loses its sweetness). If you can stomach more, the gravy-slicked Lala Beehoon (from $28) is worth a try, or get their signature Popiah ($7.50) to share. It is a massive pillow stuffed full with ingredients that make it well worth every penny. End the meal with the crowd favourite Yam Paste with Gingko Nut (from $26).
Avg Price: $30 per person

$58 for one duck // Really yummy and worth it. Skin is really crispy and goes really well with its sauce. Good portion too!! *can request the kitchen to use the remaining meat for a main - fried rice, fried noodles etc.

Survey the table for the best lighting possible. Avoid areas where there are too many shadows.

2. Ensure that the table participants are relatives so they can be accommodating. Even better if they are used to your Instagram shenanigans during non wedding eating periods.

3. Check to ensure that dining staff do not serve toy individual plates or bowls. Volunteer to distribute the food on your own for the sake of IG.

4. If an errant dining member elects to take the food before you have taken your shot, calmly stretch out your hand and form a stop sign similar to the police posters you see regularly and say "Stop" in a firm and assertive manner. Do not sound too fierce or too threatening lest you spoil the other diner's festive mood.

5. Quickly take your shot and apply extra spotlight if necessary. Having a companion with camera light will prove to be especially useful so remember to bring one.

6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 until all dishes are served.
7. Take heed to be swift so as not to be an impediment to the night's activities
8. Enjoy your dinner and happy IGing!
