From the Burpple community

A great place for family gathering. The signature dish like the yam ring and Peking duck are pretty good. Another thing I like about this place is their service. Highly recommend!

A classic teahouse with a true diverse spread of dimsum, each of them packed generously with flavours. Highlights are the jumbo spring roll that comes with chunky prawns and crab bits, as well as the crispy cheecheongfun with youtiao. Everything hit a sweet spot. (~$35 per pax)

Spring court is one of the oldest restaurant in Singapore. It first opened in 1929 at great world amusement Park, back then, it was called "Wing Chun Yuen". A nostalgic place to bring the parents.

* Please remember to make a reservation, I came here the Sunday before and it was full house.

Burrple 1for1: take note 1for1 is only for meat/poultry, soup, vegetables

It's good, but not the best peking duck skin I ever had. Serves with leek and cucumber.

After the de-skinning of the peking duck skin, comes the decision of how to use the leftover meat.

Frying it with spicy salt was recommended to us by the friendly waitress. (Additional charge of $12)

The duck was nicely fried and the crispy batter made it feel like I was eating another layer of skin.

I will recommend cooking your leftover peking duck this way, then to cook it into fried rice.

This roasted chicken stuffed with minced prawns is the must have dish here for the burrple 1for1.

Chicken was crispy and with a bottom layer of minced prawn. This is literally "prawn paste Chicken"
