At night, the old romanticism of the venue comes alive. The larger of our two venues, there are many areas of the restaurant that you can choose to have exclusive use of for your birthdays, corporate functions, networking events, weddings and solemnisations, as well, as private parties. Our two main dining areas, the indoors and the alfresco, can seat up 60 and 100 respectively. Our menu options will satisfy your desire for wholesome and flavorful American and Italian classic comforts at Spruce. We offer set menus, buffets, high tea, canapés and seasonal menus as part of our events package. As a new addition to our F&B services, we work with a few preferred vendors to provide entertainment and decorations when needed. Spruce @ Phoenix Park appeal to families, couples and professionals alike. Due to our large yet intimate spaces, we are most people’s top choice to hold any number of events. It was good but not good enough to keep people coming back... nor to keep restaurant open🤪

This is one of those dishes that I've filed under my "once is enough" category.
The poached eggs were decent but the crab patty (there's only one!) was smaller than I thought it would be and had a rather strong flavour. It was only counteracted with the Hollandaise sauce and everything else (poached egg, bacon, arugula and ciabatta) mixed together in a bite.
Do note I had asked for the sauce to be served separately which explains the presentation you see in my pic.

I still prefer the old beef cheeks that was cookes in red wine reduction. This is a thousand miles from giving me satisfaction.


Bringing the missus to the first cafe we dated. It's been 4.5 years since then and we have been to countless of cafes already. Happy monthsary and advanced birthday 🎉🎊
