The salad itself is just lettuce and aromatics. And the fish ofc

The peanut brittle is chopped up w chilies. Overall again it's a skilled combination of multiple tastes, you have sweet salty umami and spicy in the same dish, harmoniously. But here the chili is minced so I couldn't really escape it, no choice but to breathe fire and take breaks

Good but not a must try, order only if you really want a salad

Idk why they call it a relish, maybe just cos it's served with veggies. But this is a hot coconut crab stew that's packed full of flavour and very sweet as well but appropriately. The seafood combined w the cream well and the minced pork bulks up the stew, although crab was very very generous. If you bite into the sliced chillis it's obviously spicy so I could recommend slowly picking out all the slices of chili as you eat

Food:
Explosive. It's so complex and has basically all the different tastes at the same time, fresh shrimp in honey, lime's sourness, peanut's crunch, and I don't know if it's the betel leaf but theres some smokiness. On top of that there's aromatics. Go easy on the piece of chili maybe. It really takes a huge amount of culinary sensibility to balance 5 different tastes and aromas too

Must try.

Lemongrass, quite nice

Bringing the taste of Trat province near the Cambodia border, which you get to taste it in this Michelin Guide featured restaurant in Bangkok.

Topped with lots of crispy shrimp on the top, accompanied with prawns, roasted pork and egg.

I simply enjoy the whole plate as they mixed together with the chili sauce provided.

If you’ve been to the coastal province of Trat on the border of Cambodia, you’ll doubtless recall its fiery seafood and curries.

At Sri Trat, a Michelin guide restaurant, the owners bring the province’s famed cuisine to Bangkok via their mother’s favourite recipes. They also honour her, not only with a funky mural, but also by expertly crafting eastern dishes like savoury stir-fried tiger prawn with garlic, chilli, and fish sauce and spicy sea bass soup with salacca and shrimp paste.
