I chose the Caldas Royale beans for its chocolate๐Ÿซ & pecan notes to match the Chocolate Waffle-gato. Though I would have preferred a stronger caffeine kickโ˜•๏ธ, it wasnโ€™t acidic & had a lingering smoky finish.

Literally the two things I was craving for melded into one๐Ÿ˜ The ๐‚๐‡๐Ž๐‚๐Ž๐‹๐€๐“๐„ ๐–๐€๐…๐…๐‹๐„-๐†๐€๐“๐Ž ($๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘) was soft & fluffy๐Ÿง‡, soaking up every last drop of the slightly bitter espresso chocolate drizzle! The vanilla ice cream didnโ€™t melt quickly either ๐Ÿจ

๐Ÿ“ธ: Margherita pizza + pepperoni, Mushroom and truffle pizza | Beer on tap: Singapore brewlander acid hop (pineapple sour IPA), Belgium Bavik Super Pils (Pilsner)

๐Ÿ’ธ: $$

Nightcap has an ongoing partnership with @keenwaybread now and the dough is to die for. If you like your pizzas on the thinner side with a chewy(think sourdough bread) and light(fluffy and airy) crust, you will be hard-pressed to find another worthy cafe.

Beers were as described; fresh and crisp, what youโ€™d expect out of a tap. For beer drinkers who enjoys lagers, Iโ€™d highly recommend the super pilsner. For those with a more fruity palette, the pineapple sour IPA is just as worthwhile. Catch them before their beer menu revamp! (thatโ€™s what the staff said)

Reservations are recommended as there are few seatings.

It seems that canned cold brews are probably the next big thing in the specialty coffee scene in Singapore โ€” with the launch of the canned specialty coffee from Alchemist, Stamping Ground Coffee has also launched their canned cold brew (only available in black at the point of writing) โ€” the item being available at Stamping Ground Coffee, being retailed in their physical shop space at Upper East Coast Road.

If one is to wonder if there are any differences between canned cold brews and bottled cold brews โ€” it all lies with the packaging. But that being said, the Balanced Black Cold Brew is actually pretty satisfying here โ€” it delivers what it promises; a rather balanced concoction where the black cold brew comes with a fruity body and an earthy finish; all that whilst being clean with no lingering aftertaste, despite being a rather punchy cold brew.

Always interesting to see how specialty cafes that are part of the third-wave coffee movement being innovative with their coffee and related products, bringing consumers a new experience with convenience in mind. Would not be surprised if an established coffeehouse will mass produce their canned coffees and make them available for retailed in major supermarkets; that will be an interesting time in the local coffee scene if it happens ...

Ordered the hot latte & Cold Brew with milk.

The moment the coffee enters your mouth, the coffee taste hits your tongue and itโ€™s so smooth that it glides down your throat.

Probably one of the best coffee I had in Singapore

For $14 you get fried spam, caramelised onions, scrambled eggs, and some sriracha mayo in a bagel. Iโ€™m not gonna lie: in a basic-ass bagelwich like this, the only component I could possibly rave about would be the bagel โ€” which, here, is unfortunately nothing noteworthy. In fact it was hardly what Iโ€™d call a bagel at all, boasting a texture more akin to a French roll sans the crisp crust. Donโ€™t get me wrong this wasnโ€™t bad at all โ€” one can hardly fuck up spam and eggs โ€” and it definitely was satisfactory enough to hit the spot. Would I recommend intentionally having it? Naaaaah.
