This little cosy cafe is set in the latest trend of being part of an integrated floral shop, with a communal setting and no-frills dining experience. While we found the food mediocre (There is no kitchen, all food is prepared via microwave in an open bar counter), the coffee was the star. I thoroughly enjoyed the Magic (Double Ristretto), which was creamy and smooth.

The Hubs on the other hand, didn't really like the Sumatran blend of coffee which left a spicy aftertaste, pretty strong even through the sweetness of his Mocha blend. So I guess we're kinda on the fence on the coffee here? β˜•πŸ’–πŸ€”

This brightly lit cafe serves good coffee. We tried the bacon jam brioche, pulled pork burger and umami egg croissants. They were just decent and not outstanding.

Just the other day, I was in my neighborhood Starbucks, due to the fact that there was no other decent coffee alternatives. I was trying to enjoy a chocolatey cafe mocha when it occurred to me that to drink a mocha is to gulp down the entire history of the New World. .
From the Spanish exportation of Aztec cacao, and the Dutch invention of the chemical process for making cocoa, on down to the capitalist empire of Hershey, PA, Cadbury and the lifestyle marketing of Seattle's Starbucks, the modern mocha is a bittersweet concoction of imperialism, genocide, invention, and consumerism served with whipped cream on top. Yikes.
This Cuppa however was made by my buddy @koalamii which was a lifetime ahead compared to the evil corporation that is Starbucks which sadly is slowly taking over the world. At least get our names right, for God’s sake.

Price at: 10-13$ (can’t rmb the exact price)
Whatever the price was, with the generous amount of strawberries and blueberries as well as the granola it is definitely worth it. This could easily be one of the best tasting waffle I’ve had!

p/s. If you are not exactly a big eater or a person with sweet tooth, order this to share instead of soloing it (β€” like I did)

Enjoyed a good coffee in the east side of Singapore. Sadly no free WiFi.

Warm thick waffle, decorated with strawberries & big blueberries, scoop of ice cream sat in the middle, sprinkled granola toppings and earl grey drizzle. $10 per plate. Good vibes...
